Mercure Hoi An (Opening November 2019) 4 stars

I could tell you all the nice things about Grand Mercure Hoi An but that wouldn’t make the Hotel better. So it’s better to share with you items that you may not be aware of. 1. Breakfast quality rather poor. Budget too low. 2. I was staying in Room 516: rainwater discharge caused unnecessary loud noises. 3. WC type not suitable. Dropping is on the ceramic part of which becomes dirty and cannot always be washed away when flushed. It would be better if feces could drop into WC part with water.

There was a few rocky patches, but it was all managed well and we had a delightful experience

A very good, friendly welcome and check in process. All staff that we spoke to were completely customer focused and helpful. Good breakfast. Rooms nice. Would happily recommend this hotel.

Rooms old, staff inattentive however Trung as breakfast attendant was absolutely 1st class.

It was just as expected. Some things were "quirky" and yet we expected this staying in Hoi An. The bed was amazing, excellent pillows and bedding. great space, awesome bathroom. Here are some items that would have made the trip easier. 1. It would be nice to have a bench where we could put 2 open suitcases. The on beside the Tv is just too small, and the one behind the couch was perfect, but just fits one suitcase. One more bench would be excellent. 2. It would be nice for the cleaners and maids to close the doors while in the room. We have issues with mosquitos and tried hard to keep them out. 3. Servicing was great but not perfect. Coffee machine was not cleaned every day. On the last day we had no coffee pods. we also had a couple of days when the coffee whitener was not refreshed - but we went to the restaurant and got a jug of milk. other than these items, we had an excellent stay, thanks

Enjoyed stay food and drinks a lot more expensive than outside. Would keep more people in hotel if they where cheaper. Music in hotel would be nice even someone on piano. Staff allow children to come into breakfast area when being in pool and it is very dangerous for older people who may fall. Also the children can run riot and be very noisy and spoil breakfast for others. Staff should not allow this.

Excelent with staff on the ball when there was a change in our program. Pool was clean and breakfast staff attentavi to our needs.

Good service, good room upgrade to 604, other rooms are older. Good pool, good breKfast. Good and friendly staff.

Friendly staff & freeshuttle to beach and oldtown are a bonus! The room cleanness could be improved for more than 1 night guest as it’s not swiped thoroughly.

Originally we had planned this trip in June but a serious illness forced us to cancel. The hotel kindly offered to hold the booking open for us even though it was non-cancellable non refundable booking. My partner was still unable to travel but I took the opportunity to get a break. The staff at the hotel were universally kind, friendly and helpful. Room, facilities and food were excellent. The daily free cycling tours are well worth taking as well.

Very enjoyable especially after upgrade from deluxe room to junior suite. Shuttle bus to old town and beach a plus. Friendly staff.

Absolutely fantastic. Wonderful staff (especially the bell boys and front of house); nothing was too much trouble, which made our stay that much more enjoyable.
