Very very nice! The room was very comfortable...... loved the view over the MCG. The staff were very helpful. Great option for EV vehicles with a Tesla destination charger in the carpark, that was great to have available in our case. The only issue we had, the bar closed a little early I feel for a Friday night, post football match.

Fantastic location and our view from the 20th floor looking over the MCG was magnificent. Room was excellent but above all else were the staff. Always helpful and always smiling making is a great place to stay.

Room Great but public areas and Club like a Zoo

We paid for a Suite, room was fabulous. Unfortunately the public areas and the club lounge were nothing more than a Zoo of people grabbing free food and in fact we could not even get into the lounge on Friday and Saturday night. The lounge is meant to be an exclusive area, but the GM needs to review how many rooms they are selling with the club access as the current size of the Longe was not able to cope with the amount of admissions sold. As I mentioned it was like a Zoo at feeding time in fact on both Friday and Saturday nights. We did finally access the lounge on Monday night, and all I can say yes it was calm as not as many people but the food was cold, and disappointing. I mentioned to the employee that the fresh food at 5.30 when we arrived was cold, and she just looked at me blankly. The same was on Tuesday night! Breakfast was another feeding frenzy, and to be honest felt like a cafeteria on a Carnival Cruise ship. I was able to finally get a barista coffee but it was not easy and then me when I wanted well done eggs there was no chef to make them. The only eggs were pre made and cold. One morning as we were there for 6 nights, I asked the front restaurant manager if I could get well done eggs and the chef took 4 cold cooked eggs from the display and proceeded to re cook and re heat them. I was standing there in disbelief and asked if we could have fresh eggs cooked!!! This is not a standard I expect at a 5 star Hotel. Check in was also a disaster, no special check in in the club. We had to wait and wait and wait… it felt like a bus station check in! As a platinum member for many years this is very disappointing. We left the hotel saying never again! We have been very loyal Como Hotel guests and now have stayed at the Pullman 3 times. Twice as a paid guest in a suite! The entire experience other than the room that was great, left us feeling like we were at a cheap super busy hotel not a luxury hotel!
