We arrived at 2-00pm to check in but told our room wasn’t ready and that they would text us when it was. We sat in the bar for an hour and checked with reception at 3-00pm only to be told that it still wasn’t ready. We waited another hour and checked again and told it was ready by the time they organized cards etc it was 4-30pm we we got to our room

Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I was a bit confused about the water situation in the room. In my past stays at other Pullman properties, I was accustomed to having water provided in a jug in the room. However, when I checked in, I noticed that the room had an empty water jug, with no water inside. I mentioned this to the reception, and I was informed that the hotel does not provide water, only water from the tap.

Wonderful stay at the Pullman Melbourne. Service was excellent, the room was beautiful. As a female my only gripe would be, the lighting in the bathroom is insufficient for putting on makeup. We were attending a formal gala that evening and it was extremely hard to get ready in the very limited lighting.
