I’m a frequent used of Accor hotels. But this time I was staying for pleasure not business. Stay was very pleasant. The staff were attentive and our room was great. Dining room, reception and especially lift and corridors feel soulless and from a bygone era. A bit of modernisation would be welcome here. I have to thank the reception and maintain everything manager who gave exceptional service to me after I got a self induced head injury from packing my rental car. I had already checked out but they were so kind and generous with their time. Thank you.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly (hair and toothpaste on the floor). We asked the front desk to send someone to clean but nothing was done. The room was smelly (mold? cigarettes?) The staff was nice though but this hotel is definitely understaffed (front-desk also does the bar). Too bad the spa is extra $$.

The stay was good value for money, our bedroom was nice, the staff were polite and pleasant and the food was of good quality. However, the wifi in the hotel is not fit for purpose and the hotel made an error on our half board booking which meant they were unable / unwilling to feed us on the evening of Christmas Eve which was a huge disappointment on a festive break.

Having stayed at this property before we had reasonable expectations as to the quality and standard of the hotel. Regrettably we were disappointed. The room was well appointed, clean and as expected. However the public areas lacked attention to detail, were not cleaned during our stay and appeared neglected . As examples, on arrival our room was not ready and we were offered tea in the lounge while we waited. So far so good, but 24 hours later the debris from our tea had not been cleared. Similar experience in the Bar where glasses and food debris had not been cleared since the previous opening. At breakfast the staff used a trolley to clear the tables while guests were in the room and scraped the food waste into a container on the trolley. Not a practice expected in a 4 star hotel. As a further example of the lack of attention to detail, we were not offered any Accor Club Benefits despite being Silver members and this being shown on registration form.

Rather disappointed with the standard of the hotel. Would consider it more of a 3*. Never anyone to serve in the bar. We were shi ked that we'd have to pay12 euros each per visit to spa. If you are a hotel guest surely the spa should be free. Also, Decor of hotel rather dated. In the garden area it would be a good idea to put a container for people to put their discarded cigarette burrs, as the floor was littered with them.

We apologize for the presence of cigarettes on the terrace floor despite the presence of 3 large ashtrays. In summer it is the people at the reception or the restaurant who do the service at the bar. In the winter we have a bartender and musical entertainment. The Spa costs 12 euros for people staying at the hotel, it's free if you do a care. The price of the room is lower. For this price at the spa you can enjoy a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna and a rest room with drinks and dried fruits. We hope to see you again in winter for a glass of wine with local charcuterie at the bar and listen to a band. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely,

We booked as 3 (2 adults and a 9yr old child) but the room was only prepared for 2. We also had to pay full price for the child even though we were in a suite. The pool and Therme were an additional charge via the wellness centre !!! The bar had no staff - I had to call the girl from reception. The bill was completely messed up as it didn’t show the pre payment. I stay will Accor hotels as my first choice but this was very disappointing.

The best part for me was we came to do the L'ETAPE du tour and we got to the hotel at 9:30pm after the restaurant was closed. The hotel management opened the restaurant to give us food. This was exceptional.

Very nice atmosphere in this hotel for deep relax. Very good bed and good restaurant. I will come back for more time to enjoy Spa as well. Only they must improve the indication of hotel and parking when you arrive.

The room we got was wonderful with a great view of the river and mountains. However, the air conditioner did not work for one night, we had 27° C in our room, when we ask about it at the reception it magicaly startet to work. As instructed we did not touch it and the next morning had freezing cold in our room. Since there was a heat wave when we stayed there, the pool came in handy. However, pool was dirty all the time (dead bees and other insects were on top and bottom of pool). Also the terrace would need some TLC (some floor boards were broken or sticking out, the whole area should be cleaned more often). The breakfast was awesome, a lot of different foods to choose from. One thing I did not like was that you needed to cook your own eggs to your preference, which took time, but that is a personal preference if you like that or not. The staff was friendly and our overall impression was good.

Check in friendly & relatively helpful. On arrival in my room I found that I needed to go BACK to reception if I wanted a bath robe or wifi access. 1/ Why didn't the check-in clerk offer those things right away while I was at reception? This would have saved me time and given me a MUCH better impression of your hotel 2/ The notices telling me I needed to go to reception for these things were variously placed around my room - recommend you ALSO put them in the welcome folder. There is a sign in the lift saying that guests are charged to use the spa - this wasn't obvious when we booked. In fact we weren't then charged so that was confusing. We arrived to get breakfast at just after 7am - we were pressed for time as we were running a trail race out of Bozel at 8.00am so were not going to have much. I had thought breakfast was included in our booking. When the person on duty in the restaurant said it wasn't, we explained that we just wanted a coffee so wouldn't bother thanks. She looked very sour-faced and told us that coffee was in our room. It seemed very rude and was quite unnecessary. Some people, like me, do not consider instant coffee a decent cup of coffee and prefer to have real coffee for breakfast. This is beside the point - your staff member should not have been off-hand and rude to us. Finally about your restaurant. The food was good. However we were two petite, athletic women - for us the meal was adequate and just about right. If I had been staying there with my tall and athletic husband he would have been very hungry. The portion size was really rather small. Also when we asked for another glass of wine a junior member of staff was instructed what to bring... she brought the unopened bottle to our table (unnecessary), struggled to open in, then poured us some rather short glasses of wine and left wine dribbled onto the table. We felt sorry for her as she was clearly struggling and nervous. Fortunately we are empathetic and good-natured and didn't want to complain at the time . Those comments aside, we very much enjoyed our meal, and the spa was lovely.

This is a very comfortable hotel by my standards and it was provided by my employer to accompany my guests at the start of a multi-day ski-tour. All worked well, the food was good and service was generally good too. However it took over 30 minutes for our to be served drinks at the bar when we were trying to have our first briefing, so we had to go through to dinner, and this took over 2.5 hours to complete. We could chat over dinner but it would have helped to have finished earlier just to finalize our plans for the early start the next day.

Despite the excellent room, the very freindly service, the good breakfast, our stay was diqqapopinting due to the resatarant. The ambiance in the room is not very cosy, the large room is better suited for the breeakfast, for dinner not so much especially for two (not cosy, too much like a refrectoire) the menu choice was nort very apealling, but the fondue we had was OK. To top it off, of the limited wine list two of the selection i made were unavailable so we had to settle for a third choice (OK if you have 100 references but not for a limited choice)
