The hotel needs to be revamped overall. The room was comfortable as was the bed and we had a great balcony with an amazing view. The outside elevator also offered a great view. However, the common areas need to be upgraded as well as the bathrooms. We had a hexagonal brown sink from the 1980's. It looked dirty as soon as used it because the colors shows all stains. There was real vanity where to place a make up bag. The breakfast was very good. The hotel has all the good bones to become a true 5 star hotel, at this point I would suggest that 4 star rating is more appropriate.

I was shocked and deeply sad when the last night before departing the hotel decided to announce at the evening service that the next day all the roads will be closed. I felt trapped, even though the hotel has a clear image and understanding on what will happen on that day which led me to check out early and lose one night and check in in another hotel without even providing any solution other than the fact that I can pay €300 for a driver to pick me up to take me to the airport, I felt the hotel staff were superficial and they took the opportunity to abuse their power by forcing me in the situation, which could have been managed if I have received notification in regard of the closure on the day of check-in, which was two nights earlier. Keeping in mind that 1 May was Labor Day, so it's clear that they had more than one night notice and they were well aware that roads on these days will be closed.
