Save yourself!! This is a 2-star hotel posing as a 5-star. I've traveled a lot and this hotel had the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in while simultaneously being one of the more expensive. I've stayed in roadside motels that were cleaner and 1/5 of the cost. I came out for a hair transplant surgery and this was the recommended hotel but I'm guessing the hair clinic gets a major kickback for the referrals because I wouldn't refer any person here (even if I was getting commission). If you are from the US, go with your known brands like Hilton or Marriott. The shower had an incredible amount of mold. Something stuck to the window had fungus growing on it. Both the lampshades and the chair were stained. The floors were so dirty that we had a layer of filth on our feet after showering and couldn't walk around without socks. Some of the outlets didn't work and the toilet hardly flushed. This clearly wasn't an issue where they forgot to clean the room one time because things were growing! The front desk sent someone to "clean" the room but all they did was empty the already empty trashes and that's all. Which shouldn't have been surprising because that is most likely all they do to "clean" the rooms. There was also some really shady behavior on how they couldn't run my American Express so I had to pay an extra $250USD on currency exchange fees. They also wanted a deposit for incidentals but then said I didn't need to when they insisted it be in cash which I didn't have. There was a language barrier here so I'd normally give them the benefit of the doubt on it but combined with everything else it is very suspicious. We checked out that same day we checked in. It's been 4 days since we left and I'm still trying to get my money back. Even if they do, I'm still out over $250 in fees and also had to pay last minute room rates to stay at the Marriott Moxy instead. Again, if you are from the US, do NOT stay here. Go to the Marriott or Hilton.

The hotel has a great location and is very clean. The rooms are nicely equipped and have comfortable beds and pillows. Unfortunately, besides the Galata Tower, the room also overlooks a dilapidated building on the other side of the street. The Nespresso coffee capsules were fake... Unfortunately, despite the receptionist's assurance that my platinum status meant the rooms had been upgraded, they were not. I don't have a problem with the upgrade possibly being unavailable, but I felt cheated - in my opinion, I received a room identical to the one I booked. However, I appreciate the sweet and fruity welcome treat.
