Good hotel with very polite and efficient staff. Breakfast was lovely. The location is great, 5 minutes train journey to Amsterdam Central and 10 minutes to airport.

+ Convenient to the station to get around the city. + Comfortable, pleasant room. + Good amenities and lighting inside the room. - The shower drainage was designed poorly and a lot of water flowed into the rest of the bathroom. - We found the hallways to be too dark and dimly lit. It was hard to see the slot to insert the card for electricity to come on in the room since barely any light entered the room.

The heater in the room was not running well coz still feel cold inside

In recent years rates in Amsterdam have risen and especially in April and May. Mercure Sloterdijk has a rate that is fairly adjusted to market prices.
