At night we were awakened by the sound of a waterfall. The staff said it was. I was not warned, I would have taken ear plugs.

First time at Arkhangelsk, nice Hotel, good location and a nice room. Unfortunately the breakfast is beyond bad, hot food is cold, asked help for denied by the waiters, empty plates of cheese and other foods. A disgrace for a Novotel

Every morning-breakfast buffet was cold and had to have a plate microwaved. Come back the next morning...same thing. Two mornings we had to leave by 5:30 am and asked for some sort of simple breakfast at that time instead of room service menu. You replied "all the breakfast food was frozen at this time" You have the buffet to be ready in an hour and you tell us everything is still frozen..oh BTW who freezes eggs?? My colleague tried to use the coffee machine at 6 am and was told it was unavailable and your staff unplugged it.I asked for some facecloths for my room as a matter of hygiene. Even after showing several staff members pictures of these cloths , they all claimed ignorance and refused to help. Your elevators are not synchronized so you must press both buttons in order to have the closest elevator arrive. Only building in the world that I have seen this requirement. The menu in the restaurant bar was a disaster. Instead of telling us what was not available, your staff would let us spend 5-10 minutes deciding what we wanted to eat, only to be told "not available". I know you were transitioning menus but your staff should have informed us of the missing dishes so we didn't waste our time. One night, my colleague discovered a thick strand of metal in his Ramen!!! The general issue is your hotel (staff/amenities/service) does not provide any feeling of hospitality or comfort. We stayed there for 14 days and I wanted to leave after the first night. Your entire staff seems to have this apathy about fixing the problem or finding a way to get the thing the guest is requesting. That little sense of "going above and beyond for the client" that nobody at the hotel seemed to possess. Very very dissapointed

It was nice to see how much the service of the restaurant has improved after my visit one year ago. Also the service at the front desk was just awesome and very professional a big thumbs up for Veronika only small minus point that my room missed housekeeping a couple times, but I can use the same towel twice
