Shower nightmare!

Zzzzzless Couples - TripAdvisor review

Room ok, clean and nothing to say really. The lift access was quirky with people going up and down not realising they needed to use their room card entry to validate lift to operate to their floor. However, the shower was very poor and was very poor flow. I stepped in after my wife’s attempt and its trickle just went off. We had appointment at 9am so we had to have breakfast and leave. I think perhaps at this time many too many users stopped water supply to shower or reduced pressure. I mentioned to hotel reception about the shower issue and that I could not have a shower, but she tried to blame me for the following incredibly:- 1) I must have not have switched on shower properly !!! What seriously?! 2) why did I not come to Reception earlier to let them know so they could do something (of course I never envisaged a shower issue so made arrangements to get up earlier!!) 3) I could go and use another room later, but not if I didn’t tell them (was 8.30am on Saturday morning) I could see my suggestion for a small rebate was going to go nowhere. She went up to the room to check shower I think. Anyway we had to leave and no call or any other contact. So I thought I would do an honest review to capture this poor customer treatment and await a probable likely inaccurate rebuke from hotel of our version of events. Breakfast ok.

Had a great stay here, location was perfect,room was comfortable and very clean ,staff were so nice ,Rob on reception was very helpful from booking until our stay and breakfast was superb

The rooms are basic as in other lower price hotels but they are comfortable. The rooms are quirky reflecting Glasgows industrial heritage. Hotel staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was expecting just a small continental breakfast but in conjunction with Glasgow’s friendly welcome there was a substantial cooked breakfast too.
