Front desk failure to communicate

We arrived late in the evening We saw your hotel and liked the location We spoke with the front desk I realized it was Allxor property. I told him I was a member and would like a member discount. He needed our number for the membership. I told him I would give it to him but I had it in my email. He said it was no problem that I could give him the member number tomorrow We provided my credit card. Instead of holding our credit card until the morning he charged my credit card for the full price with no credit or discount guven without our knowledge In the morning we notified the front desk of our desire to continue our stay at the hotel and we provided our Allcor bumber to be applied to our stay for points and a discount to be applied. The front desk says it would be all taken care of when we checkout. In the morning the front desk called our room two times asking for our credit card info which they already had. when we were to checkout the front desk charged our credit card for less than the amount of the first night. My husband inquired and was told we were given a membership discount but they refused to apply the discount to the first night stay because they had already rub our credit card the night before and would not give me a credit. The total should have been about $10 less which is not a huge deal but completely not right!! Also we were not given a hotel point credit for the first night stay either with Allcor This is inexcusable

Although it was a very quite period in the hotel, the full staff made us really feel at home. A special thanks to the team in restaurant ( Hamza and Ilias) who were very flexible and accommodating all our needs.

Being member of the Accor group of hotels and having stayed in several Mercure hotels , Hotel Mercure Quemado Resort in Al Hoceima has to be the worst. We stayed 2 nights in Al Hoceima on our two weeks holidays of beautiful Morocco. This resort served old stale breads for breakfast . The food served were substandard quality . The coffee machine was dirty . There were bread crumbs all over the buffet table. The bread toaster was unclean. Through out our holidays in Morocco we had eaten the most delicious bread cakes and drank the most delicious local coffee. In this Mercure we are shocked to see only old breads cakes and terrible coffee were served as breakfast. Very bad image of Mercure.
