We stayed for 2 nights. I understand it was the wet season but the same room service dishes were outside multiple rooms for the entirety of our stay. None of the gardens had been up kept and for the price of the room, the facilities were very run down. I went for lunch at 2:25 not knowing the kitchen closed at 2:30 - I placed my order at 2:35 and the staff did not realise the kitchen had closed. They sent the order to the kitchen - 20 minutes later, the staff member apologised and said there was no chef in the kitchen but she could make a pizza for us. After another 20 minutes she came out and told us she didn’t know how to warm up the pizza oven and recommend we walk to the service station for food. We were made to pay for our two drinks before leaving. The saving grace were two of your waiters at dinner service and one on duty manager who gave us some free sodas to apologise for the experience. Overall - shaped like a crocodile or not - a place like this would never make it in a higher density area. If this is what Accor thinks is acceptable, we won’t be using them again.

We had a short one night stay with F.! The room was fine and we loved the fact that the kids could access their NETFLIX profile on the TV and watch what they wanted. Pool was excellent with plenty of lounges! We were really surprised by the restaurant. there were only a handful of staff working but they did incredibly well and the food was excellent at dinner and for the breakfast. We also liked the foyer displays and the gallery. Overall a great stay. The hotel a little disheveled around the edges but well worth the stay!

Disappointing to say the least… felt misled and staff disengaged

Felt ripped off. No warmth from staff. No basic facilities, rooms toed and unclean. Limited options. Jabiru should not be classified as a town. Felt captive. Pool not cleaned. Orrectoy. Allergic reactions. Untrained staff who could not even offer any guidance or support for tours. You will only get people here the once. Ripped Off by laundry was told was sorted. Staff leave queues at teceprion as they are on their breaks. Bringing the name of Mercure into disrepute.

Most times i am in Jabiru, i tend to stay with at the Croc. It has big spacious rooms, comfy beds and the meals are always delicious, especially the Angas burger with Fries - best burger in the NT

Room was smelly and damp. Even the bed was smelly and there was a stain on the bedsheet. Breakfast, however, was amazing. Friendly staff on the restaurant.

We were transferred from Cooinda Lodge, for the amount we paid for the accommodation the room and hotel amenities were below what I expected. I requested a ground floor room on arrival as my husband was unable to negotiate stairs to the superior room and we received no refund or food or beverage credit for the down grad in room.

Overall cleanliness of the venue seems to have detireorated since the last visit just under 12 months prior. 1 of the 2 rooms booked has an uncleaned toilet (Not flushed since last use and urine on the seat). This was reported to the receptionist who apologised the next morning. Horizontal surfarces in the rooms had a layer of dust. The second room booked was for 3 people but ammeneties and condements were only supplied for 2 people. It is a poor representation of the Accor brand as all other Accor fascilities I have visited have met the basic standard of providing clean accomodation while Mercure Kakadu seems to be poorly managed and maintained and is not an accurate representation of the brand.

The stay was pleasant enough. Some staff seemed unsure of what they were doing and the hotel looked generally run down. Cracks in walls, paint missing from walls, air conditioning vents which were visibly dirty in the restaurant and a mouldy baby bottle on our hotel room floor which had been missed by cleaners. The general atmosphere of the hotel was drab and dated. However, the food we ate in the restaurant was good, staff were friendly, the hotel was quiet and we enjoyed our stay for the most part.

I booked Cooinda Outback retreats as a Christmas gift for myself, unfortunately Cooinda had some water issue so I agreed for my booking to be transferred to Mercure Croc. I appreciated the customer service was good but the room itself was in a very bad condition. Bathtub, toilet, and the sink were not clean up to hotel/resort standard. There were a few marks on tivi, windows glass and dust were covered bed side and lamp. Public toilets were in very bad condition and not clean. I hoped to have a nice retreat at Kakadu but it didn't turn out the way that I wanted it to be.

Stayed for a Christmas package. Clearly there was a lack of staff, could be due to the time of the year (the wet season) the staff that was there were wonderful, very helpful although reception staff need a bit more training on tours and activities but all in all was a good stay. Lovely food, very nice Christmas lunch. As expected in remote areas the prices are a bit high. Yellow water cruise was wet but interesting, was hoping for a nice sunset shot but it rained on my parade and no sunset was to be seen, oh well, that's how it goes, the guide was very patient, and did a great job despite the weather. Thanks again to Wayne. We had a shuttle bus between tour sites and the hotel which was really convenient. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all the staff involved, also to the Info Centre Katherine who helped with bookings.

We were transferred from Cooinda Lodge and very pleasantly surprised with the Croc Hotel. Whilst the property is old and tired it was extremely clean and well maintained. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful food and the hospitality shown by the staff. These employees deserve a 10/10 as they could not do enough for all patrons young and old. Certainly made our Xmas.

Excellent location and surrounds . Had a great room Outside the pool area all the staff were efficient and friendly . Restaurant food was very nice .pool refreshing . The location is excellent in the midst of lots of tourist attractions . Yellow water , Cahills crossing and ubirr. Overall the stay was excellent . Being an Accor plus member we used 1 complimentary night and also 50% discount on all Food from the restaurant
