We stayed for two nights. Room provided most amenities i would expect. Bed and pillow was very comfortable. Air conditioning unit was good. Room could do with a refresh. Corners of the shower have accumulated limestone or something. Rooms and bathroom was clean though. Staff, without exception, were lovely to deal with. A good functional hotel.

This was the most disappointing stays at an accor hotel. The room was filthy there was mould in the bath room dirty sheets. I stayed at the novotel early in the year which only has 4 stars staying at the grand mercure as a 5 star what a joke. Staff were very polite and helpful but the hotel was extremely disappointing.

The hotel sees itself as a 5-star hotel and the building has some of that appeal in a tiered fashion. However going by quality this is a 3-star hotel at best. The hotel suffers from poor maintenance. At arrival bed pillows did smell, the safety box needed replacement, there was a beautiful long hair curling its way between the toothbrush cups. In some places the plaster is starting to crumble from the walls. The view from the room was on concrete, but I was lucky, because this was a upgraded room. Other rooms have even less of a view. To make matters even worse the hotel lost its alcohol license a while ago. The hotel bar now sells soft drinks.
