I'm staying the suite room. The design/ concept of the room is wonderful with traditional touch of Joga or Borobudur. But it seems not well maintained. The bathroom is very standard not like 4/5 stars hotel. the curtain also very difficult to open. The staff very friendly and helpful

Me and my family, stayed in the hotel for two nights. The The Staffs were very welcoming. I was helped by a staff through WhatsApp, got a time slot for the pool to use, and the health protocols were assuring. The only complaint was the alley for our car to park was very narrow.

Memorable stay at Grand Mercure Yogyakarta, they prepare welcome amenities and birthday greetings in the room, and the staffs surprise me with birthday cake during breakfast. Grand Mercure well located at Jl Adisucipto, walking distance to lippo mall and hospital, easy access to downtown. As accor member We got welcomedrink voucher, room upgrade, room is not too big but comfy with separate living room, clean with javanese accents. Unfortunately we can’t use pool since the pool is close and only open on the weekend. Friendly and helpful staffs. Overall it’s memorable stay. Thanks

Worst Check-In Experience Ever in Accor Group

I booked a room with balcony with mountain view and had a request for a quiet room. I checked-in via the app and also made a call to the hotel confirming my request. I was promised to get the room at 9th floor. Sadly, when I got into the room (room 924), I found that my room was downgraded to a room without balcony and it is CLOSE to elevator. I went down to the receptionist immediately, and surprisingly she mentioned that it was MY REQUEST to have the room downgraded and close to elevator. What a silly excuse! As usual, the hotel receptionist offered me a free upgrade to 10th floor with balcony and mountain view (North). So I agreed. BUT disappointingly, the room view is to the East not as promised. I complained to receptionist and she said that the only non-smoking room with mountain view is only my previous room, which is a downgraded one. Leaving with no choice and tired (10 PM already), I moved back to room 924 without any compensation) fee reduction etc). In my experience with Accor group this hotel was the worst one! Hopefully Accor management would read my complaint to improve their service. I am happy to be called to explain if the hotel management made any excuse. Anyway for side comment, I also feel that the front manager was also not compassionate to my case as he just look at us and busy with the pc (while no one there). Especially as he already knew our case since my first meeting with the receptionist. Only the receptionist said sorry but the front manager was cold (definitely he may excuse that he was doing something else, I can predict).

i think you need to improves your staff skill to handle customers First they gave us rooms with other guest inside the rooms When we chek in, the staff gave us the member rate but the payment can not be done because some trouble with machine And when we want to chek out, the staff gave the publish room rate After complaining they changing back Everybody made a mistake...just keep learning to better next time... pros: 1. hotel location is strategic, 2. our room is nice cons 1. exhaust fan wasnt working at all 2. Payment method is confusing. I've choose payment via online (by credit card). I though it was already charged but it turns out that It hasnt. then why you give us payment online choice? 3. At first night, there is another guest who could open our room. The front desk even ask us if it was our room. Because i stay for discount promo, i think it still worth to stay. but, if i pay with normal price. It surely dissapointing experience in 5 stars hotel.
