in a good location 2 mins walk to earl court underground a good 20 miins walk to v and a musuem room is small due to being an old building shower ok good presure but the drainage in the shower tray not upto the job really with nice artitecture what lets i down big time is the breakfast it i crossant coffee buscuits small orange juice in a paper bag the coffee machines 1 was down and the other was down for maintance and forget what price the breakfast was extra not worth the money if were to stay again no breakfast

Lift broken, stairs a nightmare up to floor 4. Dirty towel, hole in bed linen. Air con not working. Metal fitting in shower rusty. Room not serviced in 2 days .

Due to the loss of the use of the lift we were located to the ground floor and unable to have the adjoining rooms confirmed during time of order. We were travelling with my fifteen year old son who found the temptation of London nightlife very alluring, meaning I was forced to stay awake in the lobby until we’ll into the middle of the night to ensure there were no unauthorised night-time excursions. There was no breakfast service other than a pack up, which was not made clear when we booked. The hotel rooms were serviceable, if a little tired. The staff were friendly and helped us as much as they could.

I am80 years old, and I was very glad when the receptionist carried my suitcase up to room 108. It was a bit trickier to get it down. The room was OK and above all very clean, but the first night I was very cold. Having asked for some more blanket I got a very nice and warm duvet. Fortunately the heater in the bathroom made it nice to shower. Breakfast was adequate under the circumstances. Staff nice and friendly. When I complained a bit when I left, the girl was sorry that had not said anything so they could have offered me another room, but I did not want to make a fuss. The main reason why I staid in this hotel was that I usually stay in a house in Kenway road, and I normally stay there for weeks in the winter. But the owners were there, and I had to go to London for a 50th celebration and as your hotel is the closest I ended up with you. I might come again at the beginning of December, depending upon the situation with the house in Kenway road.

Helpful staff but family rooms small and no where to sit and relax . Bed comfortable . Breakfast was hugely disappointing - delivered in a paper bag with one tiny hot drink ( self service machine was broken ) and no cereal or yoghurt , only apple no other choice of fruits, cereal bar and croissants . Grandsons felt very shortchanged after last super breakfast at different Ibis in london. Their mother uses Birmingham Ibis styles and has an amazing choice for breakfast . It’s very close to Earl’s court tube but probably will not return .

Rooms were very tiny. House keeping was non existent, however, the front desk staff were very accommodating.

The hotel was ok but the lift was broken (we had to walk to the 3rd floor with bags) and the breakfast was awful - we couldn't use the breakfast room and the breakfast was handed in paper bags (one croissant, chocolate bars and one apple - we didn't eat anything, sorry!). I was very unsatisfied with this because I had paid for breakfast and if I knew it was going to be this kind of unhealthy and "on the run" meal, I would never have paid for it.

Hotel seems quite tired

This used to be my go-to value hotel in central London - great service, great location, great amenties, clean and tidy. While the smile is still there, it seems like the hotel has been forgotten a little, of late. Stains and marks around the place haven't been tidied up as they were before and it's showing signs of age - stains on the carpets, bits of black mould in the shower, water problems, towels are thin and poorly laundered, light bulbs not changed, things are broken. The breakfast offering is just a bag of very sugary snacks in a paper bag (branded with the name of a different hotel) and while the great staff kindly there refunded our breakfast fee, it's just not the same as it once was. Covid can't be an excuse for everything - I feel this hotel could do with some love and attention, to bring it back up to the standard we previously enjoyed there.

the lift didn't work for 8 days

everything was perfect. very good value for money, easy to reach. always clean. friendly staff. rooms well insulated (could watch TV or work in the room without problems) internet speed was very high even with the free option. only bad thing: Lift didn't work for 8 days.

Was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I stayed here whenever I’m in London but honestly I won’t be back. From being placed on the 4th floor with no lift, which was problematic for my sister who is asthmatic. Majority of things in our room were broken, light beside bed, tv etc. The shower only produced boiling hot water, which burnt my sisters scalp, so we couldn’t shower in it as it was way too hot. To top it all of we’ve came back home covered in bites from bed bugs, which is absolutely disgusting. I work in a hotel, so I wouldn’t usually complain about things because I know how difficult it has been for the hospitality sector. However these standards are unacceptable for anyone to stay in. It doesn’t takes weeks for an engineer to come out and fix a lift, they are out within an hour. You shouldn’t be allowing guests to stay in your hotel until you get rid of the bed bugs and get the lift fixed. Also have a word with housekeeping about placing their linen bags in a safe place. A member of the housekeeping placed their bag of linen right at the bottom of the 2nd floor staircase. since everyone is walking down with the suitcases on that narrow suitcase with the lift being out, it is going to cause a bad accident if someone trips over it on their way down.

I could not stay in the hotel for more than one night. The first room they put me in had a horrible smell. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, there were stains everywhere. The second room was not better. There was mould on the curtains, stains on one of the pillows. The lift was broken. No one helped me with my suitcase. I cut my trip short because I was so uncomfortable. Dirty cups, limescale in kettle.

Had a lovely stay. Friendly staff at reception, fair pricing and rooms are very small but clean. I chose a double room for one person and I could not imagine sharing such a small space with anyone (despite having most of my luggage in the downstairs locker room). The rooms are fine for a very short city trip. I think maintenance work needs to be done more regularly as the integrated bedside lamps didn’t work.
