My stay at Novotel Guwahati was amazing. It was more than my expectations. The team was on point and well equipped with knowledge which is very important in a profession like this. Service is no doubt top notch and is specially curated just for you which makes the whole experience even better but having the right attitude, information and knowledge is even more important and I was absolutely impressed by the Managers (Rofiqul & Akash) there who were confident in their job. It really reflects on the hotel management. The highlight of my stay there was the outstanding Breakfast buffet spread ! Loved it. Can't talk about it enough. Novotel Ghy you are setting up new standards and thanks to EVERY SINGLE PERSON working there to make it into a reality.

Hotel is well located but view from the room is not too good. The breakfast and overall service was average and so was the food

Had to wait for more than an hour to check in cause of a glitch with the reservation system. Kept getting told for an hour that it would take 5-10 minutes. Had to call the reception three times to ask them to do something about the mosquitos in my room. After four hours, I finally got the Good Night machine (for a 5 star hotel, you’d expect a better system to get rid of mosquitos) but it didn’t work. Could barely sleep cause I kept getting bit by mosquitos the entire night. For a five star hotel, the service is very apathetic and careless. Would’ve expected better. The breakfast was nice though.

I am equally concerned to learn about the mosquito issue in your room and the repeated follow-ups you had to make before assistance was provided. The inconvenience you faced, along with the lack of an effective resolution, is unacceptable, especially when it impacted your ability to rest comfortably. Your comments regarding the apathetic and careless service are deeply disappointing to read, and I assure you that your feedback has been taken very seriously. Please be assured that we are addressing these concerns with our Front Office and Housekeeping teams immediately. We are also reviewing our pest-control measures and response protocols to ensure such situations are handled far more proactively and efficiently in the future. While I am pleased to know that you appreciated the breakfast selection and acknowledged our sustainability efforts, I regret that these positives could not outweigh the shortcomings you experienced during your stay.
