Room was good & spacious. Reception modern & works well. Meal vouchers give some savings. However I was disappointed as an Accor club member to be charged full price for breakfast when there was a 30% off offer on that I was not offered.

Stayed without checking the reviews Read this prior to reservation. Stayed Thursday 2nd Jan and Friday 3rd . Room very cold on arrival .Was offered a small heater to warm the room up, Went out on business on Friday morning . Horrified to fine that on my return the room was not cleaned Not even the breakfast tray removed from Morning room service . A bar maid asked me if I needed anything . She made the bed up .Did not empty the bins or replenish drinks . Dreadful - there was only 28 residents .

Great stay, fabulously helpful staff, nice clean room. Talk to the hotel first and you get a reasonable deal for your dog to stay too! We stayed over New Years Eve and were worried Bout noise levels in the hotel as in the past there had been NYE functions on, this time it was fabulously quiet!

Excellent short stay accommodation whilst visiting family close to the hotel Worries about the availability of adjoining rooms were appeased on arrival as the requested facilities had already been prepared

I have been staying at the Mercure Sheffield Parkway for over 8 years mainly through work and occasionally for pleasure. I have seen many transformations of the hotel through this time, from the refurbishment of the bar and restaurant through to the inclusion of additional facilities that are offered at the hotel. And all for the better. The staff are warm and welcoming from the time you check in to the time you leave, always acknowledging you even when they are dealing with other guests. The Mercure has always felt like a home from home due to the staff and they are all a credit to the hotel.
