Love the location near the train station. But we were assigned the room facing the back of the hotel. The crowd there was rowdy all night till the next morning. Incredulous. Luggage deposit is chargeable at CHF7 per 4 hrs slot. Room was very basic as well. Suggest to improve the small furnishings in the bathroom to allow more area to put skincare products. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Good for a simple 1 night stay but not ideal for long stay.

It's a typical Ibis hotel but with the benefit of an easily accessible location for rail travellers. In particular, I was very impressed with the comfort of the bed, the best I have slept on for a long, long time.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Room is on the small side. The receptionist named Paola who checked me in was rude I asked for help on how to navigate the public transport and her response was ‘I don’t know where you are going’ with a rude tone. Her response should have been ‘where do you want to go.’ She gave me printed copy of the QR code without asking if I already have them. She needs training on how to deal with guests. I overheard the other lady receptionist and she was abrupt in dealing with the other guests as well. Ibis is an Accor brand and they do not uphold your values and reputation. They should not be facing guests with that attitude. Kudos to the breakfast staff especially Fabien who was professional and polite. They work so hard with a smile. Another downside is the steps as soon as you walk in towards the reception area. It is a challenge to those with heavy luggage and elderly guests.
