I love staying at IBIS STYLES Jemursari. Great facilities and amenities, also friendly staffs. But we were given a room with connector, which made us uneasy because of lack of privacy. But we are considering to stay again in IBIS STYLES. Great hotel and service.

the ibis room where we stayed was very comfortable. the staff is very friendly and helpful. food is also good. but the sensor in the bathroom is a bit annoying because it turns off while showering. But overall it was great and we can't wait to stay again at Ibis

It was not first time staying at Ibis Style Jemursari Surabaya. Several times for my staycation since it's near to my house. But surprisingly so many things decreasing. Room cleanliness was ok. But public area many spotted either in lobby and restaurant. Hair on my plate so I gave it to one of staff and changed with another one. Dessert doesn't look attractive, staff in resto was not checking my room number and not even welcoming (I saw 2 staff in the entrance to restaurant, when the do clear up so rushy and rough, noisy and 2 times staff drop plates on floor and really annoying as if they want us the get up (maybe :) )and again during having breakfast we threw our sight outside welcomed by window glass full of spotted. Not anymore a favorite place for staycation.

Dirty towels, badly placed light sensor and AC is not that cold

Our towels were dirty and have grey marks on them. When we asked for a replacement, 2 new one arrived and those new ones have brown spot marks on them. The third time we asked, they said there are no more and what is left is hand towel. We ended up ising hand towels. Bathroom light have auto light sensor, hence we need to be within the sensors reach to keep it on. These light sensor area is outside the shower. Hence when we are showering and if the light went out, we need to go outside the shower to turn it back on. Other than these two, the AC was not cold (we already maxed it out). And the hallway are dark.

I stayed in this hotel during a long trip from Jakarta - Jogja - Solo - Wonosobo - Surabaya - Denpasar. I stop by in this hotel for transit before continue driving to Bali the next day. Room is clean, convenience and well prepared. Bed is good and we enjoy our rest before start driving again. No chance to enjoy the welcome drink and breakfast because we have to start very early morning. Anyway, thank you for the preparation by the staff.

As an Accor member, I mostly book accor hotels whenever I travel around cities in Indonesia, and Ibis Styles has always been one of them. Ibis Styles Surabaya particularly has always been satisfying for its cleanliness; the food is also quite palatable. However, this time I was a little surprised with the breakfast rule. At the time of booking, I saw clearly in the T&C that 2 children under 16 y.o. got free breakfast, yet I was required to pay. Why is the rule different from what's stated in the T&C? Anyways, it was overall a good stay.
