well located, good price for last hour reserve in Copacabana

Traditional IBIS room (ok for me). The whole experience would be great if they didn´t had a serious AC issue, that stayed for the whole night. Thankfully, my AC was on for a couple of hours before the fail and the room kept a "livable" condition. The unit in my room kept driping for the whole stayed, which I remedy with towels in the floor. The rest of the experience was fine.

My recent experience at the hotel was somewhat mixed. I arrived at the lobby around 12:30, where I was informed that the check-in time would commence at 2 pm, which was completely understandable. However, upon my return, there was a substantial queue, as the staff refused to initiate the check-in process earlier. It would have been more convenient if they had allowed guests to settle the payment at 2 pm, thus expediting the check-in process. Overall, the delayed check-in process detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The hotel is clean and good value for the location. I'll probably stay again. But it wasn't perfect: the down-button on the lift didn't work on the 9th floor; and the room next to me had noisy work for four of five days I was there.

No soap.

I arrived late at night and my room had no soap. At the restaurant the food took too long.
