Reception friendly (unless you complain), room large and clean, despite the neighbourhood hotel feels fairly safe. WiFi good. Safe didn’t work (reception laughed and told me I’m probably doing it wrong, came to room to fix it, still didn’t work… I locked my valuables in my suitcase), air con doesn’t work, doors slam at night (no dampening on the doors), second floor extremely noisy from road outside, and apparently they don’t credit Accor points if you book with travel agencies (though they completely forget to mention that when you explicitly ask about it by email beforehand). Particularly disappointing is when you check out and you’re asked if you had a good stay, and give a list as the one above, and the response is simply a shoulder shrug and “as you wish.” Why even ask if someone had a good stay if you don’t want the answer? Childish nonsense.

Another comfortable visit to this hotel, easy access from railway station. Very competent desk team and within hotel generally. This is clean and well maintained inside. Easy access to Eurostar makes this a must for visitors to city as it offers easy access to all of Brussels attractions.
