Grand Mercure Mysore 5 stars

We visited mysore in May 2023 and had booked 2 rooms at Grand mercure mysore on 26th and 27th may 2023. Hotel was okay but during check out on 28th they refused to accept 2000 rupee notes. When I asked the reason duty manager Mr. Rajesh said its their management decision not to accept 2000 rupee notes.when asked for details he said the management will send a mail to me stating the details before 12.00pm on the same day. And I settled the bill by online payment. But I didnt receive any mail. When I contacted him he said they will send the mail monday as sunday is a holiday I tried to contact him again on monday afternoon and night but they refused to send that mail. When the government has clearly stated that 2000 rupee notes remain legal tender till 2023 september they were supposed to accept it. Never expected such irresponsible behaviour from a hotel which claims to be a 5 star property.

Awesome stay with spic and span environment . Great complimentary breakfast with multi varieties . Very pleasant front office and cleaning staff. Spacious and clean swimming pool. Beautiful night view from outside

We were happy with the service, which was very good inspite of a fully packed hotel. My guess is that the Hotel had more than 100% occupancy.

We enjoyed our stay at Grand Mercure Mysuru. Very satisfying... From the time were entered.. The valet service onwards...to the reception to the bell boys and the restaurant staff were very courteous and well mannered. The only issue I had was the delay in room service and toiletries...the diluted body lotion ( more water less lotion and shampoos were a big disappointment. But overall our trip was very nice.

Everything was perfect, staff were super helpful, food at any point was well organized and every guest was taken care of.
