Novotel Xi'an SCPG

I have been to many hotels in China, in Asia and around the world. I can simply say that all staff when above and beyond to make your stay more enjoyable. From checking, to late checking, to finding information. The location is very convenient being nearby the subway, a nice shopping mall ( INCITY) and Daming Palace. It is reasonably priced and well maintained. In order to continue my journey on international flight, I was required to get a PCR test; The manager oversaw everything about it and even send a concierge with me to the hospital to assure everything would go smoothly.. Well done NOVOTEL Xi’An SCPG, you got a new faithful customer!

It is the second my business trip to Xi’an in 2020, and stayed XIAN NOVOTEL SCPG again, I think the hotel business hadn’t been affected by the COVID-19, The staff is warm, and friendly, this is the reason my colleague help me book this hotel again. Last time, I told hotel staff I didn’t like the room number, I prefer the number 6 and 8, almost Chinese like these two numbers; and the checking out time is too long, I am waiting over 10 minutes. But this time, I surprised to find the hotel remember my suggestion, when I check in. Alice Liu from Front Desk staff offered a nice room, and good number with 6; and suggest me to print the Fapiao in advance for saving my time, if I didn’t have any expending, thanks to Alice Liu for my assist, and I appreciate it. I will have a leisure trip to Xi’an the end of the Sep., but I will stay the Novotel Xian The Bell Tower, the other hotel in Xian, because this hotel is near by the city center, I hope this hotel will be as good as the XIAN NOVOTEL SCPG.

This is a very nice, well appointed hotel, in the inner city. Restaurants and eateries in the shopping mall directly beside. A gentle walk to market shopping. A translater app would be useful as very few staff speak English. Paying for a club room/club access is of no benefit.

Lincoln, who has just moved from another Tier 1 Hotel Chain, seems to have really brought along that element of refinement which the Novotel brand in the Accor group misses. I was there for 3 nights and was celebrating a special occasion, I was delighted at the way the room was arranged. Loved the little notes left by our housekeeper. Convenient to the Subway and a mall (adjacent). A strong contender for anyone considering Xian!
