Everything about this hotel is alright except for the Mountain View Deluxe room is quite dark. Not enough lighting

Good located. Good breakfast. But bad room condition. Bed sheet a bit dirty & bad smells. Bugs flews in the room. Water for drink serve by jug, but cannot find a dispenser mechine around the corridor. Hotel need renovation soonest. Fyi, my friend room very bad & when asked to relocate another room, the front desk handle with low customer service attitude . Low hospitality. Should be training more.

Main issues: 1. It was not possible turn off one of the reading lights. Therefore the light stayed on all night. This is not convenient for sleeping 2. The air conditioning unit is noisy and the controls are very old-looking. I turned the unit off because of the noise 3. There is mould on the ceiling of the shower 4. The entrance card for the room was old and falling apart 5. The lobby area is impressive - but needs new paint and "freshening up"

Stay in this heritage hotel last week was very excited. On one end of the spectrum I have which is in a league of its own in terms of design. Even beyond that, I see some hotels that are actually pleasant to spend time at, while some clearly don’t care much about repeat business.

Big dissapointment

rmakmur Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Big dissapointment. I asked for Non smoking rooms and receptionist told me that all 3 rooms that we rent are non smoking. However I found out letter on (due to the smell and my friend and I recurrent alergy as a result of inhaling the unhealthy air in the mroom) that my room and another room are smoking room. Thru the night, my friend and I were suffering from recurrent allergic due to the smell of the smoking room that we inhaled, event though the hotel changed my room after complaining. It didnt feel like an acoord hotel at all. Big dissapointment

Beautiful landscape and architecture, located in the middle of the Bukittinggi city. Comfortable bed and view from the room. Breakfast was excellent. The pool was surrounded by the nice landscaping. Love this hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

decent hotel with reasonable price

the room was clean and decent, you actually don't need an AC since the place is quite chilly. everything was actually good except the restaurant and bar service, took forever for our food and drinks to be served. same thing with the bar, we ordered two desert, took almost an hour.
