It's located in a great location, very close to the market, jam gadang, ngarai sianok, and other food places. The hotel has a great architecture, a blend between minang and islamic culture. The only thing that need improvement is the maintenance since it's an old hotel (the room door started to make sound) and room service. I requested an iron and it's only being delivered after asking 3 times and it's delivered finally without the board, which is useless anyway. And the board has not been delivered until we checked out and I've already tired of following up.

The Novotel is very close to Jam Gadang, Bukittinggi Landmark and also the central of the city. Staying in this hotel give you easily access to enjoy this City like beautiful view, street foot, nice restaurant and coffee shop

Stay in this heritage hotel last week was very excited. On one end of the spectrum I have which is in a league of its own in terms of design. Even beyond that, I see some hotels that are actually pleasant to spend time at, while some clearly don’t care much about repeat business.

Big dissapointment

Big dissapointment. I asked for Non smoking rooms and receptionist told me that all 3 rooms that we rent are non smoking. However I found out letter on (due to the smell and my friend and I recurrent alergy as a result of inhaling the unhealthy air in the mroom) that my room and another room are smoking room. Thru the night, my friend and I were suffering from recurrent allergic due to the smell of the smoking room that we inhaled, event though the hotel changed my room after complaining. It didnt feel like an acoord hotel at all. Big dissapointment

Beautiful landscape and architecture, located in the middle of the Bukittinggi city. Comfortable bed and view from the room. Breakfast was excellent. The pool was surrounded by the nice landscaping. Love this hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

the room was clean and decent, you actually don't need an AC since the place is quite chilly. everything was actually good except the restaurant and bar service, took forever for our food and drinks to be served. same thing with the bar, we ordered two desert, took almost an hour.
