The hotel is very pretty, the room interior absolutely chic. Unfortunately, the airco didn't really work, which resulted in the room being too stuffy. The worst thing was during breakfast, however, when eggs and espresso were charged extra without being informed in advance despite having booked the room with breakfast.

The valet parking damaged our car - not seriously. Obviously not great, but the rating of 10 reflects the levels the management and staff went to as a result of the incident. This turned a negative into a positive (or it will be when we get the repair done!).

Lovely spacious bedroom, fantastic bathroom and a wonderful comfortable bed, assured a great night's sleep. However, the Michelin Starred restaurant was closed 'for the holidays' whatever that means. The Brasserie was alleged fully booked, but there seemed to be several tables that didn't get used. The hotel didn't attempt to recommend any good restaurants nearby, which is poor at this star rating.

Great location, friendly staff, spacious rooms but lacking some of things expected in a 4* hotel, and compared to other MGallery hotels I have stayed in. On the surface all appears well but my bathroom needed a deep clean (grubby shower screen, fittings falling off wall), the beverage facilities in the room were very poor with just a few teabags etc crammed in to a plastic cup (I guess I was expecting a coffee machine) and an underwhelming breakfast selection.

We had one night in the hotel, en route back to London. The room was lovely. We had our dog with us. We booked dinner in your smart restaurant. It was disappointing that the dog wasn't allowed in the bar before dinner, but was accepted 2m away in the reception. Not the end of the world. Dinner was delicious. My big complaint was that your staff in the restaurant weren't enthusiastic or happy. They did their job efficiently, but with no charm, charisma or happiness.

Were welcomed and someone even came out to see if we needed a hand with out baggage . Comfortable room with large bed and nice linen. Good bathroom complementary toiletries . Good quality meal with attentive staff. Large variety available for breakfast. A very comfortable stay.

Everything worked quite well. The room was nicely appointed. The restaurant (Brasserie) served us a very nice meal at an affordable price. We bought things at the Boutique. The location is perfect. And your "pet friendly" accommodation is most appreciated.

Staff is very friendly - during each and every stay Beds are terrible and need to be replaced. I literaly could not sleep duging those two nights. Why do you install showers (bathtubs) with no curtains or glass closing ? Did somebody from the hotel ever tried to have a shower in those bathtubs ?

Very nice place. We stay at the hotel every year. As every year, we have the same suggestion for (slight) improvement: - rooms are not light. A couple of halogens would fix the problem - difficult to plug in a laptop when sitting at the desk. Looks like not so many people use their computer - no more body lotion in the bathrooms :) Ratio price/performance was outstanding though.

Diappointing room, great food

The food was amazing as always. The room was disappointing compared to previous visits. The 3rd floor room was very dark, too hot (and the air conditioning didnt work), there was a constant noise through what seemed like some kind of chimney and the mattress was too okd and sunken in.

We rented 3 rooms for a family city trip. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful during the 2 days of our stay. The only black mark was that all three showers were very difficult to use as they don’t stay straight and send water all over the bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay. and the meal at The Table during our first night was fabulous The day after however... I had a horrible case of diarrhoea You may have noticed that I did not eat breakfast that morning or dinner that evening... I was charged for breakfast and thought you'd like to know about it
