Upon arrival we asked to leave our bags as we arrived early. Wr were able to check in early which was great. We were not aware of work being done and our room had no natural light at all and was quite cold even with turning the air conditioning unit up. Breakfast was a okay.

Decent hotel , good standard of facilities, comfortable beds Pity about the scaffolding whilst the outside is renovated - but it made absolutely no difference to us. Wish all the staff well during this bleak time

On arrival we found the entire building covered in scaffolding and dust sheets. Entrance and stairway dirty and dusty, carpets all digusting and dirty. Rooms dirty, bathroom dirty.

The hotel is currently under a major renovation. The hotel is covered in scaffolding, builders were walking past bedroom windows on the scaffolding throughout the day which is not very private. The main staircase carpets were dusty (probably from the builders) and one lift was out of service and the alternative lift had an unusual odour to it. The hotel is perfectly located and the breakfast was very good.

The check-in was amazing myself and my boyfriend got checked in over an hour and a half early, the staff were really helpful, polite and welcoming and answered any questions or queries we had. The rooms were extremely clean and very quiet.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy but the heater didn’t work so it was freezing and the window whistles if you shut it and if I opened it it made the room even colder, there was only 2 plug sockets in the room so when they brought me a portable heater I couldn’t charge my phone and dry my hair if I wanted to stay warm also there was building work going on so men were walking past my window I had to keep the curtains shut, I rang the hotel twice before I came for my visit and this was never mentioned

The hotel is under renovation, will improve when work is finished. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast continental and sufficient although coffe machine service was limited to one choice. The internet was very poor, came up briefly on our phone but would not work on the tablet in the bedroom or bar. We would use the hotel again after renovations are completed.

The staff was absolutely lovely, perfectly situated however the breakfast wasn’t great and the room was adequate as the hair dryer was intermittent, no toilet brush and the fan was noisey in the bathroom. We was provided with a plug in heater which was surprising as we thought they may be a radiator.

Well located for where we needed to be. Reception polite & helpful, room basic but clean & spacious. Breakfast plentiful with porridge, toast continental style meats & cheese. Would stay again.
