Due to the fact that I was participating in the Palermo Marathon on the morning of 17 Nov 2019, I knew I would need a slightly later check-out time, and the front-desk staff were very accommodating and understanding in this respect......greatly appreciated!

Large clean room, friendly staff and good location for the port. Negatives were, the air conditioning was poor and the food in the evening mediocre. Breakfast was great but the set price meal in the evening was a disappointment. The bar area was tiny, couldn't understand why the upstairs area in reception wasn't used more.

Good hotel, just near the ferry harbor.

Clean hotel, old building with small rooms and small beds (140). The hotel is just a little to far from the center. Breakfast was great with a nice view from the 7th floor and the staff was very friendly.

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Calls to reception and visits to the front desk were always responded to in a quick and friendly manner. Our room on the first floor was spacious and clean.

The staff were very helpfull. Fine room with a very fine bathroom. The restaurant and bar on the 7th floor, with a fine look to the harbour and the sea. Breakfast was very fine, but I missed a little more meat on the buffet in the evening

Excellent cost benefit, good and convenient location, room is big, comfortable and quite with a nice view of the port, bathroom clean and spacious. Breakfast is very good! I do recommend Hotel ibis Styles Palermo President!

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful providing good advice on how to explore Palermo. Restaurant promised much but the menu was very disappointing. Beds were comfortable but the rooms were in need of attention and renovation. Fridge in one room didn’t work.

We arrived very late around 02:00am and the guy for the night-time reception was outstanding! He was helpful, pleasent, efficient and couldn't do enough to help! The room was large, clean, etc, just what we needed. Breakfast was good too, all staff were friendly and helpful, a special mention for Antonella on reception as she has the only name I can remember after earlier email exchanges (all good too!). If we go back to Palermo, we know where to stay! Thanks for a great stay, its just a shame it was so short (our fault!) Grazie mille!

We had a very good stay at Ibis Styles. The room was comfortable, the staff was very helpful and attentive and the food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. The very best was the roof terrace. On the minus side is the location. The hotel was a bit hard to find the first time and the surroundings are a bit shady and rundown, it felt like that especially when it was dark. Never felt unsafe though.

My husband and I stayed here from 3 nights. The hotel is very central and has a parking lot. The breakfast was sufficient and we had a great view over the port. The room was an adequate size. I found that the shower cabinet door wasn't sealed properly and the bathroom floor seemed to flood each time we had a shower. The glass shelf in the bathroom was placed in a dangerous spot and we kept hitting our heads each time. Also our fridge wasn't working.

Good location for the stay in Palermo if you are travelling from the Palermo airport to other parts of Sicily. Nice view over the sea port from the restaurant at the top. Very friendly personnel (especially Russian-speaking Liudmila). Comfortable renovated rooms with all necessary staff. Good breakfast. A bit far from the Palermo center (20 minute walk), dirty neighbourhood.

The check-in process was smooth and the staff were helpful. However, the room has some broken facilities, which I think IBIS can fix easily but no one pays attention to them. For instance, the bed side table was broken; the toilet basin was stuff, etc. Besides, the toilet should have more clothing hooks for hanging up towels and clothes.
