We loved our stay at this resort. Very comfortable, nice rooms and excellent service from the staff. My only negative would be around some of the meals. Notably the beachside seafood. The Mud crab and Crayfish are very small for the price and definitely not worth the money. The breakfast was very nice though.

Mixed experience, I have stayed at many Sofitel resorts worldwide and whilst the resort is beautiful it is very outdated and needs work, many things broke during our stay. Our room suffered damage in the ceiling and from 4:30am to 7:00am on night 1, there was a loud banging in the roof, staff tried to rectify the issue but over 2 x nights there was no other option, we had to move rooms. We had a prestige suite, staff tried to get us in another room that was equal however not better than our current room, we ended up in a Honeymoon suite with a pool which was an acceptable switch but not an upgrade. My wife also had a near miss with the hairdryer catching on fire whilst she was drying my daughters hair, this could of been a disaster and luckily no one was hurt. As I said, staff were excellent and made up for the shortfalls, I do feel that these issues are a regular occurrence at the hotel.

The staff were warm and friendly, and the family room arrangement was well planned and suitable for our needs. The restaurants and bars were both enjoyable, with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast area had no air conditioning, and some sections had quite a few flies, which affected the experience. The shower area was very slippery and felt unsafe. The Kids Club was average and could be improved. Overall, it was still a comfortable and family-friendly stay.
