Great stay, much needed break from work and we felt completely at ease with the restrictions in place.. we were made to feel welcome and the staff were excellent

Room had everything we needed for our stay. Bed comfortable. Shower excellent. Great location right on St Andrew Square. Continental breakfast was fine.

Stayed for one night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was excellent with shops and restaurants just minutes walk away. Will definitely book again

We had to go to Edinburgh to accompany our daughter to her 'Planning meeting' as she had just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. we like to visit Edinburgh at least twice a year and usually rent apartments, This time we decided to drive as we had our toy puppy poodle with us and our miniature poodle, so wanted somewhere dog friendly and near a grass area as they have been trained to do their 'business on command. we chose the Hotel Ibis at St Andrews square as we knew the area and the reputation of the hotel. The staff (Emilion) answered all my questions prior to booking. On arrival, the manager Patrick, and Anna, I hope I have your names right, were friendly attentive professional and answered any questions we had. We had chosen a balcony suite. and were not disappointed. It did not have the usual slippers and bathrobes, however this is to be expected. The room was spotless, the city view amazing. We had decided to go for the dinner meal package, the soup was good as was the chicken tika and fish and chips. Breakfast in the morning was probably one of the best continental breakfast we have had. Presented and served well. We loved the fact their was minimal use of plastic, the key cards were wood, unbleached loo paper. Our doggies loved their stay as well, They were made to felt most welcome, We took our own food bowls and beds for them and ensured they were under our control at all times. as mentioned at the start of the review, all the staff were were great, they complied fully with covid-19 Protocol, You could see and sense their smiles despite wearing masks. We will be back to stay again and would like our thanks to be passed on to all the staff. They are a credit to the Accor company

Pleasant hotel staff very welcoming and helpful room had everything I needed

This is the best budget hotel I've stayed in, and better than many more expensive hotels. The public areas are very good. All the staff were great. The rooms are small and simple but perfectly adequate. The food is simple but good for the money. Covid-19 measures are excellent.

From the minute we walked through the door the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean with a great view. The bed was very comfortable and had nice touches with the coffee maker and lovely smelling soap and shower gel. The food was really good everything we had was delicious.

Very accommodating hotel with lovely staff. The top floor room was very nice with a great view.

Very pleasant given the current circumstances. Staff were all very helpful respected social distancing guidelines. Hope things improve for you guys and I will be back with my wife at some point for a weekend break.

Everything was perfect as usual

What was striking for us initially was the interior styling - great first impression. We felt that it was high-priced for the room we were given. Now, after a week, I can find the room on a lower cost. Although it was small, there was enough storage space for small luggage and coats, and also space that can be used as a desk. There was breakfast, which was something required for our stay. Since buffets are not allowed during the pandemic, breakfast was served in a tray, containing our preferences. All reception staff were following the health-safety guidance. We trust that we were decent visitors as well. Overall very positive experience for a 1-night stay. Would stay there again.

Excellent price for a high quality room in central Edinburgh Slick check-in and very freindly staff.
