Expensive hotel due to location. The room was small and very cold on arrival and it took a long time to warm up. Although there was tea / coffee facilities there wasn’t any milk. The bathroom smelt faintly like cigarettes and only had hand wash, no other toiletries which was frustrating as I hadn’t packed any. Breakfast ok with good views. Underwhelming stay and wouldn’t stay again.

Room service was awesome, Rebeka was the best! Quick, on time, accommodating. Totally recommend and will most def come again! All in all, the hotel is good, great staff, nice pool. Gym could be better equipped but aside from that everything was fine.

Hotel located theoretically far from city centre, but within ca. half an hour you can get there. We got upgraded two levels from base room to executive as Diamond member of All (slightly disappointed as previous time it was to junior suite). View from the room is great, this is why we returned. Unfortunately hotel does not make guests much welcome. I don’t recall last time that Accor hotel refused payment at checkout and required it at checkin. Also majority of hotels open account without pre-authorisation (at least for Platinum+ guests). Usually more expensive (not only) Accor hotels offer cocktails for welcome voucher. This hotel unfortunately not. Breakfast is very disappointing. Even for London 28 GBP is expensive at the hotel. It gets you quite basic buffett, with many items requiring high surcharge (8 GBP for porridge, 13 GBP for omelette). Fortunately as Diamond we got free bf on weekend, but we needed to ask as it was not noted at printout for bf room staff (at checkin they had no clue how it is handled). As comparison we stayed later at Hilton close to city centre with bf at 20 GBP. Eggs Benedict, omelette etc. require just 3 GBP surcharge. And for Hilton Honors members it was waived. Also very surprising for London hotel, at the bar not a single beer/cider on tap. The pool is good, and usually not overcrowded. It would be good however to have more chairs, there are just two. Something cool first time I saw is umbrella station (picture attached). You use card to rent it (2 GBP fee), if you don’t return it you are charged 20 GBP. Great use of cards, solving problem of not returned items. To show how hotel disregards guests for unknown reason they send survey after the stay. And then ignore a reply. Definitely not going back there.

The room upgrade is subject to availability and we always try to offer Suites to our Diamond members however quite often especially at the weekends they are already booked. In the UK the policy is to take a pre-authorisation or payment on arrival. Our breakfast is £25.00 and is in line with the majority of our competitors and the A La Carte option is mainly for our guests that want something lighter and not the full buffet. I am glad you liked our new sustainable umberella's, I will let the company know that we did it through your positive feedback. I have recently ordered some new furniture for the pool area which should be with us shortly. I am so sorry to hear that you will not return :(. Very nicer room The only thing is there is a little big work to do in the rooms and bathrooms, ceiling is cracking… Concerning the room service, I was served buy Rebeka and she was lovely, nice help for a special demand of a salad… Thank you so much it was perfect !

Where do I begin ? The staff went above and beyond. I can’t express more what I felt and what I still feel. I have booked the Novotel London Canary Wharf for my mom’s 68th birthday last November 2022. It was an amazing weekend, unforgettable. Every member of the staff were here to make our stay as fabulous as it was. Breakfast is incredible and the view is mind blowing. We also had dinner at BOKAN, the food is delicious and that view again overlooking the landscape of London is to die for. Special thanks to Samira Theo Antonella and Jacqui for this mind blowing experience. Thank you for the bottom of my heart and my family. See you soon!
