Not a welcoming reception experience becuase I did not have Identification with me. I have subsequently realised your confirmation of booking email does say this however I believe this needs to be much more prominent and earlier in the confirmation, and should be a reminder notification on your app.

A nicely maintained hotel with enjoyable amenities i.e. swimming pool and sauna. Unfortunately I checked in later than anticipated at 6.30pm and after relaxing in the said amenities I was disappointed to discover the hotel restaurant's would not accept orders after 9.30pm. I would have assumed thd restaurant would be open later on a Saturday?

I have stayed at the hotel 40+ times over many years and this is the first time I was disappointed. The reception greeting was lovely and I have no complaints about the attitude of any of the staff but once in my room I realised that the hand wash had run out. I sent a message to the WhatsApp group and did not receive a reply. The next morning, I stepped into the shower and there was no shower gel either. I tried to call someone but the new phones were confusing to use and I received a recorded message saying that I could not be connected. I called the hotel on the external telephone number. I was able to state the problem and it was resolved very quickly afterwards. Everything in the room was fine but there was mould on the hand held shower head, which I think is unacceptable. The next morning, I went to make a cup of tea and noticed that the mug that I'd used had dried lipstick marks on it. This is just not what I expect from the hotel and not what I've experienced on all of my earlier visits.
