Had it booked thru booking.com, check in was a breeze. However, the room is old. WC was leaking, everytime flush lever pushed. Bathtub needs replacement. Exhaust fan was very noisy, was quite annoying during bed time. Breakfast was pretty good.

Start with tasty breakfast especially the legend 'Bubur Angkasa' continues with spacious room so comfy and clean as well also had an opportunity to have Buka Bersama Package during Ramadhan, various food from modern to traditional..well done Grand Mercure Medan! My premier room is spacious, modern, clean, and very comfortable. I really like the towel because it is very soft, thick, and great smell. TV in the room is big maybe about 43 inch and has many international channels. For breakfast, besides buffet, they also provide Indonesian food stall like Lontong Medan, Bubur Angkasa, Soto Medan, and Mie Ayam Lamian which was very special. All of them were delicious. I think it will be much vetter if the hotel also provides other menus like Japanese food or Chinese food. Other facilities were well maintained and cleaned like swimming pool and gym. I'd like to mention Mr. Herbert at the front office who was very helpful and friendly. I feel honored and special.

the water kettle didn't work, there was no facial tissue in the room, the rain shower handle came off, the bathroom door handle came off and there were mosquitoes in the room. the hotel management responded quickly to these shortcomings, but it all reduced the comfort of the stay.

Staff is friendly, every rooms have bath tub. And the place where we (family) take breakfast near pools well decorated like hanging garden. Love the view so much, many varients of food that we can choose and some are unique. Breakfast place outdoor and have fresh air so we no need to afraid of disease or virus. After breakfast , then it's swimming time.

Room is quiet clean Covid Protocol is not that strict lift can be occupied more than 5 people and lift is small. Do Laundry and clothes still wet when they send back to me so clothes stinky. Parking area is limited so it is difficult to park.

The room is old and the windows were dirty blooking the view :-(... I am not sure the point stay also included in my accor account. My stays in Ibis styles all show added point stay in my allaccor acount but not from Grand Merrcure Medan. Dissapointed.

I stayed for 2 nights in 2 rooms with my family, and all I can express is disappointment. Dust on every surface of glass and table, water boiler was not washed properly. Very bad housekeeping! The only service I appreciate was the front desk who helped me a lot through check in process. Overall I am not satisfied, considering this hotel is supposed to be a "5-star" hotel.
