The hotel and its location are excellent, but the time of checkin was not so pleasant at all. There was only one person to greet all guests on a weekend. But overall it was excellent! I will definitely return!

Despreparo na equipe do check in, muito turn over no hotel,

We booked a double bed room for 4 days and a suite for the final day at the destination. Sharing my thoughs on both: Check in took me almost 20 min, even having done the online checkin, there was a single person at the desk and 2 people in front of me. The staff is friendly, but definitly overworked. The rooms have a nice concept, good sized, confortable double bed, with hair dryer, but the reading bed light was broken on my side, the toilet seat was wobbly and the paint was already dirty. It had fair amenity kit (shampoo, shower cap, soap) for the pricepoint. Prices on the minibar and room service were not that high, but the breakfest had very limited options, not worth the extra. During the stay, one of the lifts became defective, but a couple minutes were enough to bring a small chaos to the place (16 floors, 2 lifts). Moving on to the suite, that's were we had the most trouble. even though we made a late check in (after 5pm), the room was not ready when we arrived. It looked like it was locked for at least 6 months with no use, the smell on the lavatory of mold was unbearable. The water in the toilets smelled like camphor balls or cockroaches. The bed was about the same size of the standard room,only more pillows. The outside area (terrace) was full of dust, the bathtub there was covered, empty, rusting. They had a expresso machine, but we had to call reception since the mugs provided wouldn't fit inside! The amenity kit was improved with shaving creams, ladies utils & combs, the room had flip flops and robes, two ACs (one in the bedroom and one in the 'living room', but both in this and in the std room, the TVs have analogue signal reception (poor image quality). On the bright side, shower was really good, and wifi reception worked well throughout the hotel. Overall, my impressions is that this is an old hotel, not that well maintained. Might have been a 4* in the past, but I couldn't give it more than 3. If you have a good deal, go for the standard room. The suites are not worth the extra. And always book online, if you pay the 'daily fee' in the reception you'll be burning money
