I always finish my travelling in Brazil at the Pullman Hotel Guarulhos Sao Paulo, located a short distance from the international / domestic airport. The Pullman Hotel has very friendly English speaking staff, a great restaurant and bar, with early buffet breakfast and a very large pool area set up with a bar and food if needed. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel is not the cheapest but has a nice friendly atmosphere, a free shuttle bus runs regularly from the hotel to the international airport.

A lot stupid mailing for a daily use room. By arriving it seem good... but later it looks for all confused stuff... Never again - I prefer Marriott at all. I had to change the room instead the stuff told me by arrival that he checked it all... After changing the room next day the key card doesn't works. And at the bar and restaurant was no credit so I had to pay ontime... Very, very bad experience.

I had missed my flight at GRU, and needed a hotel - fast - I was beyond exhausted. When I came to check-in, there was an awesome front desk agent named Eric, who was beyond professional and put me at ease instantly. When I came back down to the bar to grab a drink, he remembered my name and made sure everything was alright with the room, and asked if there was anything more he could do to help. As a business owner myself, I always recognize when a staff member is doing more than just "the normal" - Eric genuinely cared about my stay/situation. Hes one of those service-industry employees who is truely meant to be in his position. The hotel as a whole is awesome, great bar, great restaurant, pool and spa facilities are top notch. If you ever have a layover (or miss your flight) at GRU, feel confident in staying here. Great hotel.
