I enjoyed my stayed in this hotel in Beijing. They upgraded me a great en-suite room, and provided good information to help me unlock my “yellow health code”. During Covid 19, they closed lounge as gov requests, but they still provide me the supper and great beers. It’s awesome!

I used accor app booking , when I check in they told me no show in their system.and then they confirm with reservation again gave to me same result.these situations are same with I stay in NOVOTEl. many times NO SHOW.i really don't want to explain and waiting check in again again.seems like guest make some fault.pillows and quilt give off terrible smell.soap is used by last guest,window is not opened ,door clock is damage.airconditioner turn up high heat still shows 19 degrees all night!!! Really would not recommend for you!!! I never stay in this hotel No Second time!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Our room was very nice and clean. The decor in the hotel was tasteful. There was a wonderful variety of food offered at breakfast. The hotel even opened early for our group since we had to leave the hotel before the buffet ususally opened.

I stayed at Grand Mercure Dongcheng for almost 1 week and during my stay Mr Zhang provided the best service a Front Office Executive could provide from a seamless checkin and checkout, getting daily transportation, getting directions or addresses to our meeting locations, to giving recommendations on places to go to. Would definitely come back to stay at Grand Mercure. Thank you Mr Zhang!!

The hotel was arranged by the travel company. Initial impressions were not that great, as check-in was clunky and my initial room (an upgrade as I am Accor Gold) was very hot and had an annoyingly squeaky aircon fan. I was allocated another room without question. It was an 'inside room' that looked into a central area of the hotel that housed machinery and the like, but it turned out to be no problem. The room was still very warm regardless of the aircon setting, but luckily the window opened and allowed cool fresh air in, which is a bonus in any hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable (despite the always-on heating), quiet and well appointed. Good points: location close to the metro, a small supermarket and many 'authentic' (be prepared !) restaurants; pleasant staff; extensive breakfast options; reasonable free wifi. Not-so-goods: no large lobby area to sit to speak of; initial room was not well-maintained.
