I liked everything about the room, ambience of the hotel , location , friendly staff. One wierd thing that happened on the arrival day was that tv operated on its own and this was only on the arrival day and switches of the room was little confusing. Overall experience was good.

Everything was good but the ambience of a 5 star hotel was missing.

Being an accor silver member it was my first stay in Grand Mercure Bengaluru hotel. My room A.C. was not at all working. I complained in evening however after several follow up my complaint was attended but it was an casual approach my senior staffs. Even next day I had to rush and check out , called manager to attend my complain again an ensure at-least for 2 hours make sure my room A.C. works as I had to prepare my notes and other urgent stuffs but at very end time of check out people came an attended. Started cleaning and servicing A.C. which ideally could have been done at very first day of my stay. However because of overall stress that I gone thru at the time of check out I asked for complaint register/feedback book but very smartly the reception manager behaved in such a way that's if he is not aware about any of my communication. I asked him again to provide and he denied to do so. Thus by going through above all issues and I was stressed up by oversight I forgotten my clothes in room. As I am travelling continuously I realized on 31st Aug and connected with Hotel team on # 80… , response was casual. After 2 follow up's I was conveyed yes housekeeping team have founded and kept in loss and found area. I need my clothes hence conveyed staff to send it to me across I was been told to speak with manager. After waiting for few days as I didn't received any response today I approached Front office manager Mr. Zibraan Kazi informed him and updated. I requested I won't be able to come in coming months hence I expect to be send by courier at my residence in Mumbai. I am awaiting call and update on action taken but so far I don't have any clue what's happening. Hence I am compelled to narrate the complete experience I had and the overall response. A Perfect family place to stay in a word. This hotel within Gopalan Signature mall, offers one of the biggest rooms in Bangalore at least. Stayed couple of times in the 1 bed room suite which has a huge terrace (not balcony). The best part is, there is very high in hygiene and had maintained their property quite good which is very much a YES for me during this covid crisis. The food is good with some specific items are exceptional. My family with 2 kids enjoyed the stay here and I would always come back here should I visit Bangalore. The staffs had the best attitude starting from the front desk (Ajay, Vijay, Pratiksha) to the restaurants. One of the best check in and check out I had seen in the recent times. After a long time I had seen a hotel where all the staffs were smiling and greeting a quest regardless of the 1000 requests and enquiries I had during my long stay. And there was this Mr.Prahanth, the Security Head I believe. Cool chap, who spend hours together playing snooker with me (not much guests ..lol) and even helped getting my family to the hotel when we were stuck in the rain. Lastly, the guy who made all this happen. The hotel manager Zeebran. He literally persuaded me 😊 in to staying in this hotel when i had just made an enquiry call. A friendly guy who doesn’t mind spending his time chatting and he made sure my requests were attended too. Though not much of the facilities were open due to the current pandemic, he tried his best to give us the space and allowed us use some of the recreation areas. He even went to extend of opening up a restaurant to just allow the in room guests to have breakfast instead of in room dining. I literally needed that after being tired of the in room dining. I liked the way he treated us during our stay and was there to send me off at the end of the stay. Look for this guy should you need anything, he doesn’t show the manager attitude and is quite cool!
