Stayed for 2 nights to attend a family wedding. Ceremony and wedding breakfast were excellent. Beds and rooms very comfortable but bathroom disappointingly small and hard to negotiate when trying to get ready. It was a shame the bar etc was communal as when waiting for wedding breakfast etc it was hard to find space to sit. Breakfast on Saturday morning was far better than Sunday which was very busy. Getting to the coffee machine was difficult and the cooked food was not good.

An apology of a four-star hotel

Appalling. You do not 'service the rooms' for environmental reasons, i.e. make the beds or change the towels, but are prepared to keep the bar open late if customers want more alcohol. Craven hypocrisy. In our room there were two teabags, one peppermint and one camomile; Mmmm! No water provided but one can use one's own bottle to top up at a fountain near reception. Of course all customers have empty bottles with them: No? then buy one from reception!

I stayed for one night only on business. I often have a need to stay in this area and I have now tried most similar hotels in this area. This is now going to be my number one choice and my main place to stay.

Well located

Friendly staff on arrival, room well made up for a family of 4. Comfy beds & very clean. After our nights stay for my sisters wedding at the golf club a nice breakfast awaited us, or so we thought.... I had previously messaged about having vegan breakfasts & hotel replied back that they will cater for us only to find we could only have beans on toast & hash brown! When we asked a member of staff it took her over 10 minutes to find out clearly not knowing the difference between vegan & gluten free! When asking for vegan sausages she brought out 1 to share between 4 of us as that is all chef had left but then brought a whole plate full for the next table!

They all took good care of me.

I was organising my father's celebration of life event (wake). From the first time I walked into the hotel and met Shaun who showed me round to all my dealings with Kerry the events coordinator to Nathaniel at Reception both when booking my room and then checking in with Nathaniel to all the staff on the day of the event, everyone was so kind considerate and caring of a vulnerable grieving daughter. You made it easy and run smoothly and I am so grateful to each and every member of staff...those I have named here and the others whose names I did not catch. Thank you.

Dear Dr B., I would like to thank you for your recent visit to the Mercure Milton Keynes. We really appreciate feedback, particularly in trying times and your kind words, which are very much welcomed. Your comments will be shared with all the team as a way of recognising the guest experiences we delivered. Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback and we hope to welcome you back again very soon. Kind regards Ross Paton
