We had a wonderful family stay at Grand Mercure Bandung Setiabudi. We arrived early because my daughter had an important online university scholarship examination at 9:00 AM. Initially, the team kindly offered us a business room, but shortly afterward they prepared a guest room so she could take the examination in a quieter and more comfortable environment. This thoughtful assistance meant a great deal to us. As an ALL Gold member, I was also delighted to receive an upgrade to a spacious Privilege Room with a pleasant pool view. Throughout our stay, the team was warm, responsive and genuinely helpful, including assisting us when we had difficulty opening our suitcase lock. The personalized welcome amenity was another lovely surprise. I had mentioned that I preferred chocolate rather than fruit, and although strawberry cake was apparently the available option that day, the team thoughtfully prepared a beautifully presented chocolate cake with my name on it. Breakfast offered an extensive selection of Indonesian, Western and Asian dishes. The Soto Bandung was surprisingly excellent: the clear broth was flavorful without being heavy, and the beef portions were very generous. It became one of the highlights of our breakfast. A small suggestion would be to add sautéed mushrooms to the Western breakfast selection. Overall, we felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. Thank you to the entire team for making our short family stay comfortable and memorable.

A great hotel to stay in bandung, especially if you look for a hotel who served quite vibe and good view. everything is perfect for me personally including the staff are very nice and so helpful even when i checked-in late night, and the breakfast menu has some various choice. One thing that actually not a big problem, the TV isn't supported to watch netflix or youtube and it only has regular national and international channel, not a big deal but i really hope they will upgrade the room entertainment and of course i would go back and stay again here if i ever go to bandung again even though i have a house in bandung.

Having awesome experience staying on the grand mercure hotel setiabudi. The pool was warm and i enjoy swimming on their pool. And also my child was very happy and wants to staying again in here. The breakfast was good, the taste was delicious (ps : my daughter love the “nasi goreng kari”) they have kids club and my daughter happy to playing in there. I will be stay again in grand mercure setiabudi when i’m visiting bandung again.

Great location, friendly staff, and clean rooms. The breakfast was also delicious with many options. Excellent value for money! We always stay here for certain special celebrations because it is so enjoyable. We will return once the lagoon rooms have finished their renovation.

My stay at Grand Mercure Bandung Setiabudi was average overall. The location is quite convenient, especially for families planning to visit the Lembang area, and the breakfast offered a good variety of choices. However, as an Accor Platinum member, I did not feel that my loyalty status was adequately recognized during the stay. In addition, there was a miscalculation regarding the use of my ALL Reward points, which was disappointing and required further clarification. While the hotel has its strengths in terms of location and breakfast selection, the overall experience fell short of my expectations, particularly in terms of member recognition and service accuracy.

I booked two rooms because we were celebrating the birthdays of two different family members. When making the reservation through Agoda, I submitted a special request asking for a birthday greeting in each room. The day before check-in, I contacted Grand Mercure Bandung to confirm whether they had received my request. Unfortunately, the initial response was quite disappointing. I was told that the team could only provide one birthday greeting per reservation. I explained that I had booked two separate rooms specifically to surprise two different people. I also mentioned that if this was not possible, I would appreciate being informed as soon as possible because I would need to cancel my reservation and book another hotel. The main purpose of our family trip to Bandung was to celebrate my mother's and my sister-in-law's birthdays. After waiting for quite some time, I finally received confirmation that they were able to prepare birthday greetings for both rooms. I truly appreciate the effort, and I would like to thank the team for preparing the small birthday cakes and the birthday messages written on the bathroom mirrors. Those thoughtful touches made the celebrations special. I had also requested connecting rooms. Unfortunately, our rooms were located at the far end of the corridor, quite far from the elevator. I understand that this is an older hotel, but I personally feel uncomfortable staying in rooms that are too isolated, especially at night. The corridor had several turns, and the room lighting was rather dim. Around midnight, my young nephew suddenly woke up crying for no apparent reason, which made the experience even more unsettling for me. Since I am someone who gets easily frightened and I often travel with my nephew, I usually request a room close to the elevator or with easy access. I was therefore a little disappointed with the room location. That said, there were still many positive aspects of our stay. The swimming pool was great, and the water was pleasantly warm instead of cold. The hotel also offers excellent facilities, including a gym, spa, and kids' club, which are perfect for families with children. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and we also received welcome drinks that could be redeemed anytime before check-out, which was a nice benefit. One final point I would like to mention is about the check-in experience. While I was checking in, I noticed that the guest next to me was informed about the parking validation process so they could enjoy complimentary parking. However, the female receptionist who assisted me did not provide me with the same information. I believe all guests should receive consistent service and that all staff should follow the same standard operating procedures (SOPs), so every guest receives the same level of information and hospitality. Overall, despite a few disappointments, we still had an enjoyable stay and appreciated the birthday arrangements that helped make our family celebration memorable. And also i still give you 10 out of 10 service survey because i do understand that my feedback it means a lot to you. you only need to improve the service in several areas.

This is our hotel wherever we visited our hometown, stay 3 days last week, and yesterday we booked hotel and got acknowledged by Stefani (hope the name it’s correct) and get upgrade it. An Accor member, recognition its touch the point of loyalty. She did a seamless Check in with heartist personality. Good impression compared to previous check in. Room in good maintenance as we mostly choose pool view with balcony. Breakfast was great, simple foods did with passionate, from Bala2 (stay crispy even in long buffet display) vegetables capcay influence by their Chinese restaurants taste was good. Soto Tangkar, nasi goreng well seasoned and tasty. If I can suggest need to relook of selection cheeses as only cheddar slice and cube, while name tag showed other cheese like Brie. Need more love in the bakery side, it’s not have to get the quantity but selected quality, good artisan fresh croissants, fresh baked sourdough, sliced breads it’s would be great. Breakfast Service was superb, from the lady manager, hostess and Eka who taking care of our table. Really showing Accor heartist with genuine smile and care. Small noted Please selected a good coffee bean even for breakfast buffet 😊 Coffee it’s equal importance for breakfast. Hotel facilities were great from the pool, sunbed, greenery surrounding as picture. Still our first choice wherever we will visit bandung. Thank you All for the good experiences.
