Kept waiting to check in despite arriving at about 4 pm., although there were 3 staff at reception and 2 guests checking in. The third staff member was attending to some paper work. None of the staff apologised for the delay.

Check in Staff great. Room had everything need for a short stay. Care needs to be taken in cleaning the room BEFORE guests arrive. Dead ants on chair. No fly screen on sliding door when you want fresh air instead of turning on the very old split system. (Who knows when filters were last cleaned). Ironing board needs padding. Used beach towel on ironing board. Tried Iron on towel to check heat etc. Setting low. Used on a pair of trousers and iron stuck and left huge mark. Was very upset as now no good. $100 Message in room says put towels outside your room ? So other guest can see your used towels ? No safe. Saturday night had dinner in restaurant. Menu limited. Ordered steak, asked waitress to swap sweet potato to mash potato if possible. Food came with a few vegetables (Brussel sprouts and two small pieces of cauliflower) and steak, not enough sauce on meat. Asked waitress re potato’s. Finished meal and then a dish with potato’s came out. Communication needed between staff members and guests. Breakfast was lovely and enjoyed the variety given. Staff members were pulling tables around room to setup for lunch. At least let guest enjoy their breakfast without unwanted noise. Check out was fast and staff polite.

We had a nice stay overall however we felt a few things were amiss. The “heated” pool had a closure sign on it after multiple staff had advised it was open. After returning to the front desk to enquire, the sign was ripped off and we were told we could use it. Unfortunately the temperature was very low and we didn’t feel as comfortable as we thought we would in a heated pool. No power points next to the beds was disappointing. The bed was very hard and we noticed there was no mattress topper. We thought this would’ve been standard in a hotel like this. It also moved extremely easily and if you so much as tried to sit on the bed with your back on the wall to watch tv, the bed rolled out away from the wall. My husband played golf and I had a spa appt which were both very enjoyable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were given a late check out which we were grateful for. Overall a lovely stay. We look forward to returning one day.

Beautiful golf course

Me and a friend stayed one night at the Pullman to fit in 2 rounds of golf on Saturday and Sunday. Check in and finding our room was seamless but overall i found the amenity left me wanting a little more. There were plenty of signs also talking about free wifi for our stay but we had to end up paying for it. For a hotel that costs $400 a night on average I would also expect some options for a minibar and some additional functionality with the TV. Staff were perfect, in particular the dining room staff however I would also expect for the price paid, that breakfast be included.
