Pullman Magenta Shores Resort 5 stars

I chose Pullman because of its reputation for quality, comfortable beds and experience. But unfortunately, this pace fell very short. The bed was so uncomfortable, definitely not a pullam bed that I am used to sleeping in!. The air conditioner unit was so yellow and old, with the filters being so thick in dust, I was afraid to use it for fear of pathogens in the air. There were two other rooms in the unit block, and with each door that opened and shut, we heard very loudly, even the voices of people talking. Someone buzzed our unit, wanting to deliver something to unit 1 on the bottom floor. Then, early at 6ish, all I could hear was reverse bipping from a truck below our accommodation through the bathroom window that was open. I've been an Accor member for 20 years and have stayed in many places, and this was not one of my good experiences. We had some lunch before we checked in at the small bar bistro, and we ordered coffee. I asked for a flat white and got a cup of plunger coffee that tasted terrible. The staff were lovely, but that's it.

Myself and my partner stayed for two nights last week. We were upgraded to a three bedroom villa, which was appreciated, but just way too big for two people and was a little uncomfortable to be in. 100% understand refurbishment and congratulate you for upgrading the F&B outlets, but the team have half the space to watch over but seem to never be there because they're on the other side of the bar (the closed off area). With that being said, the restaurant genuinely surprised us with the PM staff and food being exceptional. Lameesa, Rhiannon & Curtis in particular were hospitable, open and genuine which really made our experience better. As lovely as Mel was, she was a little flustered due to a conference group that was also there which took a little bit away from the experience. Nate in the bar was great both nights, remembering our orders and saying hi throughout the day. The AM team was underwhelming compared to PM with Caz ignoring us (despite making eye contact) standing at the bar until we said excuse me. However, we completely understand when people have a bad day and she was polite when serving us. Special mention for Lucy who was also brilliant in FO during check in, however check out was a little weird with Maddie telling us we were supposed to receive an amenity but we didn't...We also ended up getting double charged due to pre-auth, but Lachlan was so quick to help me get it all sorted so that's easily forgotten. Overall would 100% come back again, maybe with a bigger group to fill out the bedrooms haha, but your staff are a credit to your property!

Room was dirty, big black marks on walls and mould in bathroom

We went toplay golf (really enjoyable) & have a relaxing couple of days. All was as expected. Sunday hight meals were tops & the breakfasts were satisfying
