We have stayed at the hotel before because of its proximity to transport at Central Station and restaurants in Darling Harbour and our stay at the hotel was again really enjoyable. All the staff including Housekeeping were helpful and friendly during our stay. The only thing not up to the standard of our last 2 visits was the barista coffee!! Previously we looked forward to the excellent coffee included with breakfast but this time it was weak and poorly made.

The hotel and the room that I stayed were clean and tidy. Staff were polite and helpful. I like the cookie jar and bowl of apples on the Front Reception counters. It is also a thoughtful gesture to have a few biscuits in the room as they always go down a treat with coffee or tea.

Comfotable room for overhight stay in Sydney for business trip. Room was large but bathroom was a bit pokey and small. No white wine in the fridge/minibar was disappointing. A night light in the bathroom would have been appreci8.

Overall a very positive experience - the room upgrade was great and so was the bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The room furnishings were modern and we had no issues with the room or its facilities. We had breakfast on both mornings and it was good as well as few small dishes off the Tapas menu at the bar along with a few drinks. At other Novotel hotels there is a premium Wifi for LeClub members - couldn't seem to find it? Also we found the parking a bit confusing with the adjacent carpark, there was two tickets and we were coming and going later in the stay we were unsure which ticket to use and in the end the boomgate would not open for us and we had to use the intercom to get the gate opened. (I used the ticket that I had received the 2nd time we arrived and maybe we should have just used the validated ticket - but a few instructions on a piece of paper at check-in would be an improvement). Also only 1 lift at the parking station was working and the lift was very slow.)

It’s always good to stay at a hotel with smiling friendly staff. I enjoy staying here as it is comfortable and close to china town and darling harbour. It is clear that it is extremely well maintained and comfortable.

The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional. They were friendly and attentive. Could not fault the staff and we were even given complimentary drinks vouchers which was a nice touch. The down side was that our room was right next door to the pool and you could hear people entering the pool area as they were right outside our door. The bathroom was rather run down and could have done with a bit of a spruce up. The basin looked like it had a crack in it, the tiles in the shower floor were stained white and the door was peeling at the bottom. The bathroom was very clean, but just looked old.

Long weekend, in town for a concert. I found the hotel to be a little bit less exciting and aged compared to other hotels of the chains I stayed in recently (Vietnam, Lombok etc).
