We were very happy with the stay, the room was ready when we arrived a bit early. Staff friendly and room was nice, view of the park. Either side is fine, Darlinghurst and Woolloomooloo is old world. We ate at the down stairs eatery, again ok Would stay again, great city position.

Staff at the reception were very friendly. When I mentioned that my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, they sent a beautiful surprise to our room (chocolate cake with strawberries and grapes plus a bottle of wine with a beautiful card and a lovely message) They also upgraded our room without paying any extra:)

room got water dropping from conditioning, breakfast was incredibly small for the price and slow in serving coffee. what was high: the price.

Overall the hotel was good. The room was a good size with a good view over Hyde Park. My only issue was even though I had paid $120 for a late checkout until 5pm, housekeeping didn't seem to get the message and tried to chase me out twice during the day.

We have always experienced great service with pullman hotels and resorts and Sydney Hyde Park was no exception. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bedding was so comfy and we slept like babies. Our only disappoint was we wish the windows had been clean as the view out to Hyde park was incredible.

We stayed here for seven nights during out stay. Our room was clean, neat and spacious. The staff kept the room made up and clean. The rooms are up-to-date. All staff members were outstanding and professional. A standout amongst the staff was Mr. Pol. He was a delight to talk with. He was very professional and friendly. He made our stay extra pleasant during the evenings in the executive lounge.

No doubt that the room and place was great. However, there are some points I that I didn’t quite like. - I requested for a universal adapter. It took an hour or so before someone hand it over. I had to call again in between to follow up. - When I saw your “pillow menu” I got so so so excited! And so, I called the general service to ask if I could have the 2 luxe pillow. But it never came. I didn’t bother calling back. Felt upset, I thought that pullman’s pillow menu is something so unique that staff must be attentive. - last and by far strangest feeling I’ve had in any of my hotel experience... was when SOMEONE opened my room and about to come in! No knock at all! I was in the bathroom, preparing for my event (no clothes on) when I heard that there’s someone trying to open the door (probably inserting the door card). that time, I instantly felt scared and nervous. I tried to see it through the door peephole but I am quite small to see who’s outside. I immediately grab my bathrobe and stopped her from completely opening the door. I asked why she is opening the door and her response was “room service” ?? I mean, there’s nothing wrong with room service of course. But she shouldn’t do that. What if I didn’t heard her coming? And I’m naked or doing private stuff? I hope this can be addressed. After that incident, I didn’t feel comfortable anymore. On the other hand, the old lady on the cafe 36 is very nice also the receptionist when I checked out.

Room was fantastic, meal at the restaurant was okay.

We had a very good overnight stay. The room was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant downstairs. We would stay here again.

Staff was friendly. The air con didn’t work very well - felt hot & then cold. The shower mixer didn’t work - the shower head wouldn’t stay up. Curtains were broken & ratty. Lifts were slow & card passes didn’t work efficiently. It’s not good to wait 15 minutes for a lift.

The hotel is perfect to kick start our 8 wks family trip. Everything was so smooth and easy from the moment we check in through to buffet breakfast before catching our flight out. Twin bedroom is spacious ( rare for alot 5star hotels) for all 4 of us, comfy beds, clean and convenient location to a lot of attraction and transport.

I really enjoyed the hotel, the room was spacious and modern and the view was great. Front desk staff was very prompt and attentive. It was great having access to the executive lounge, my only recommendation would be a bit more variety.
