When we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and upgraded our room to have a Hyde Park view. She helped us to book a buffet breakfast which was delicious and reasonably priced. Only let down was the restaurant being closed and the bar only having a more expensive and exclusive menu.

Due to a booking error made by LUXURY ESCAPES, we arrived at our room with only one bed, and a roll-away bed (two Queen beds were requested and paid for - brother and sister). Not a pleasant experience, and extremely uncomfortable for an elderly person to sleep on a roll-away bed for five nights. It must be said that the reception staff bent over backwards to assist us as best they could. Next time I will book directly with Pullman, and not through LUXURY ESCAPES.

Hotel is worn out and in need of redecoration. Bedroom and especially bathrooms are dated; shower water is weak and not hot enough. Great view of Hyde Park spoilt by dirty windows. Curtains don't close properly. No USB charging outlets.

We also apologise for the cleanliness of the windows, the curtains not functioning properly, and the lack of USB charging options. This is a great hotel in an excellent location. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Easy access to the cities attractions and public transport make getting around a dream. The only complaint from the family was the wait for lifts, one lift was out of use so during the peak times there was frequent delays. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay again.
