Very helpful staff and a well located hotel. If you're driving to the hotel it's a bit convoluted to find the car entrance, but otherwise good. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Some of the fittings were a bit tired and in need of maintenance. The selection of kitchen cutlery was strange and in in need of review. Everything was clean and well aired.

The room is perfectly adequate. However, water pooled on my balcony so I couldn't really sit out there. Noise from the nearby restaurants and bars was not regular dining noise but big-bass, doof-doof music. Other noise came from the restaurants downstairs (I think, I couldn't pinpoint the exact location) where someone was repeatedly tipping bins of bottle waste into a larger bin. Also from the restaurant downstairs, I could not open my doors in the morning as the smell of bacon (which I do not eat) was pervasive in my Level one room. I have since made the decision to find another hotel, next time I am in Auckland for business.

Bed - comfy Viaduct - good Room - uninspiring City view - back of carpark☹️ - not good Reception - smelled of cigarettes from adjacent restaurants/bars Receptionist - organized wake-up call & taxi as requested Restaurant - none were part of Accor so no discounts Price- early booking fee turned out to be more than on the day ...not at all impressed. Will never return or recommend to anyone.
