very nice modern hotel set in a very old building. Our room 304 had a view of the Opera House and the cruise ships when in port. Very helpful staff and comfortable bed. a small bar onsite. Next door is a Creperie...perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch. There also is a very good Israeli/Mediterranean restaurant attached. We had a great and interesting meal there. The neighborhood is full of shops, restaurants and pubs as well as historic site. Near the Circle Quay ferry docks, the Bridge (watch those brave climbers) and the Opera House. Downside....no elevator. There is a luggage lift though

Great hotel with charm and character situated in a prime spot in Sydney. The staff were very helpful and indicated where the best places to visit and eat etc could be found. Evening entertainment on some nights and a great little breakfast venue next door owned by the hotel.

Once again, the team at Harbour Rocks made my extended visit comfortable and pleasant. This hotel has become my home away from home when I visit from Toronto each year, and it was lovely to see Josephine, Gaby and Spring on my return, and to meet Blue and Sergio. The room was, as always, well appointed and comfortable, the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and plentiful, and the welcome gift - and the balcony on which to enjoy some of it each evening after a day of meetings - was truly appreciated. HRH is a gem and I look forward to my return next year.

Excellent service, accommodating staff at all touch points no matter time of day. Amazing location, 3 minute stroll from ferries, train, bus and port. Many restaurants nearby with all types of food and drink.

Fantastic location, which we very much appreciated with its easy access to Circular Quay and to so many great places to eat. Whilst we loved the concept of this hotel and its quirky nature, the quality of the rooms and facilities were fine but not really 5 star. The corridor and our bed room on the first floor smelt of damp and the bathroom was tiny (the sink very difficult to use with the positioning of a shelf). Obviously, a stunning older building will have challenges over modern equivalents but we had a sense that opportunities were missed here in design and preservation that could have made this an amazing place to stay. The staff were welcoming and pleasant.
