We enjoyed two nights at the Lindrum and particularly appreciated the attentive and genuinely engaged staff. The location is great and the service is both proactive and responsive. The rooms are lovely, warm and quiet.

Common areas are great, the bones of the hotel are very nice - but the in-room experience was like being in a monastery. No minibar - not even a bottle of water, or even ice cubes. Nothing to eat. Instant coffee. No room service food available other than chips and chocolates. TV from the early 2000s, with a few Foxtel channels, no streaming services available. This should be a boutique hotel experience (and is priced as such) but it isn't. The likes of Adelphi, Ovolo are way ahead for the price and segment.

Even though I checked on the website to see if the restaurant was open and it stated it was. The restaurant was closed for evening meals, there is nothing available in the mini bar and there is no room service. We have stayed a few times and always enjoyed the restaurant. The breakfast was overpriced, small and also lacking in variety. Mothers day was not even acknowledged by the staff. When I phoned reception to ask about availability of food I was told I could come down to the bar and purchase some bar snacks! When i mentioned to reception that they should not advertise on the website that the restaurant was open he said they have kept it on as it might open back up. No apologies that we had booked expecting to eat at the restaurant.
