Weighing scale in the bathroom was not working. Called concierge to get either replacement batteries or replacement scale. It didn’t come after an hour. Had to call 2nd time. Still no one came after the 2nd hour. Called the 3rd time. Someone came 15mins to swap out the unit. Air conditioning was too cold. Tried to set via iPad and it was not working. Called and someone looked into it immediately. Adjusted from the wall button. Could physically hear a difference in fan speed. Temperature set was 25 degrees. Still really cold. I manual set it to 29 but the detected temperature was still 22. Turn off completely. The detected temperature came down to 23.5 and still cold. Did not like the ipad control for YouTube and Netflix. Would very much prefer the default interface instead of a custom interface which was not intuitive at all. Size of cursor to the distance I was sitting from the bed was too far and was not a good viewing distance.

Outline of traveller. Age 35 stay in over 90 nights a year with major hotels per year on business generally. Pros: Overall great, room was awesome although small. Everything operates off an iPad. Stayed In the standard room. Super clean facilities and soo trendy. Restaurant was great, although the hotel is literally 50m away from a great hawker market which I recommend to eat at. The location was amazing walking distance to everything including marina bay. All amenities, Nespresso machine, comfy bed, rooftop pool is perfect. Cons: The staff members on there mobile phones. issue which seemed to bug me more so after we left. Every time you looked or was waiting for assistance the staff were on there phones. Bell boys in the lift, to waiting in the lobby. Concierge girl texting on her phone. Check in staff head down in there phones. It’s a five star hotel. I just think there is a level of attention and service that comes with that. This doesn’t happen at any other Accor hotels or Major brands I generally stay at. They are well trained staff this seems to be the major flaw.

The best hotel customer service I have experienced. I feel ill during my stay and the stay checked on me and sent me a fruit platter, such a nice touch! My second time at this hotel. Staff is excellent, fast check-in and lovely cleaner (very mindful to details). On the negative side, the hotel furniture seems to be depreciating due to age and usage. Doors are looking dirty and furniture sometimes look damaged. Some fixed assets investment would be good.

Travelling for work and only booked in for 1 night. I was really surprised by the darkness of my room and it had also a damp odour about it. I had booked the larger room, assuming it had the bath tub however it was just a very large bathroom with a small shower. Very strange.

Room was good. Services in lobby were good. However, housekeeping was not consistent with the amenities. In the second day of stay, no brown sugar and creamer were provided. In the third day of stay, no cotton buds was provided. Minor inconsistencies, but still inconsistency.

service is not satisfactory. not get more facilities as an accor plus member. I have requested to view the room, but it was not fulfilled. items left at the hotel, not found. really disappointed, even though the room decor is nice but the room is not so spacious. less employees so no one controls or surveys regarding visits from hotel so softitel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay - would Service was outstanding - all Hotel staff very friendly and helpful right from check in to checking out!! The Restaurant was superb, the breakfast buffet so delicious and a great variety of dishes for all meals. Hotel room very comfortable and catered for all our needs - bed very comfortable!!! A BIG THANKYOU TO Ismail our assistant chief concierge man who went over and beyond to make our 5 night stay and transport to cruise terminal pleasurable!!

Enjoyable stay once again

I think this was our 4th time at SO/ Singapore and once again we had a good time. Room was great, New Year’s Eve dinner was superb and generally service was very good though I would say it had slipped slightly from its best. A few times we were waiting a long time for bar service while staff were standing around talking with each other. That said there was a lot to enjoy during our stay and it was a great place to end the year at.
