Good location by the viaduct with quiet rooms. Bar has been upgraded since our last visit which was needed, so it is a better space now to have a drink. Friendly staff

The Sofitel was nice. It has a good restaurant, spa and lounge. The rooms are well proportioned and the bathrooms generous. However, when we checked in we were told the airconditioning was broken and had been since Nov! No discounts were offered, and apparently it was part of an email sent earlier - I went through my emails, no mention of the aircon issue! The shower head was spraying all over the place so I had to wrap a face cloth around it so it wouldnt hit me in the eye. Then they wanted to charge $50 late check out fee when we had been there for a week and spend several thousands of dollars. Overall the staff were nice, but probably needed to take stock of their situation.

Lovely stay but only disappointment was that we advised the reservation officer that it was our anniversary but there was no acknowledgement at all during our stay
