The car park is a flat £17.50 which ends at 0400hrs, meaning most overnight stays needs to be covered by two days’ parking. It’s not clear on the signs and you’ll get a ticket by ANPR if you leave after 0400 without buying a second ticket. I stayed for one night in February, paying for one £17.50 ticket and receiving a £60.00 fine, and have just stayed for two nights in March, paying £52.50 to park for 3 days, making the Ibis a pretty expensive hotel option.

I completely understand how unclear signage and unexpected fines can make what should be a relaxing visit feel stressful and disappointing. I would like to kindly clarify that the car park adjacent to the hotel is operated independently by the train station, and unfortunately, we do not have control over its pricing structure, signage, or enforcement systems such as ANPR. That said, I fully appreciate how this situation can reflect on your overall experience with us, and I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused. For future visits, we do recommend an alternative option at Cambridge Leisure Park, which offers more flexible and often more cost-effective parking rates for our guests. Our team is always happy to provide directions and guidance on the best available parking options to help avoid situations like this. Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was clean. However, a lot of noise from outside and a hotel guest in distress was very noisy. Due to this guest being in the next room to us there was a lot of noise travelling to our room.

I was out all day so I didn't use any of the facilities other than the room but the bed was comfortable, the shower was warm and the room was clean and tidy. Happy to stay here again.

It is convenient since it is just few steps away from the station however, it is far from the city centre. Woke up with a runny nose which I believe is because of the room being dusty. Never had this in other hotels we’ve been to. Ever. Being in the room also made it difficult to breathe. I know it’s being cleaned after every guest however, I truly believe it needs to be deep cleaned. The loo doesn’t have a good ventilation as well. In addition to that, I would say the breakfast is what I loved. They have healthy options which I liked. The coffee was good. I would recommend this to people who just needs an overnight stay before travelling but unfortunately, I would not come back.
