The hotel was functional and clean, which is all I need. If it was half the price then I would be happy, but to charge those prices for a small, plasticy room is a little OTT.

Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Rooms were cleaned on request. Quick check in and out however, having check-in next to the lifts resulted in clusters of people - unable to socially distance and little privacy for conversation with staff.

Hotel was very clean and the staff excellent. Just across the street from Cambridge railway station the hotel is well located and with numerous buses and taxis to take you into the city centre if needed. It is approximately a mile and a half from the ibis to the city centre. About a 25 minute walk.

Main flush in the toilet didn't work, once flushed it kept flushing, asked the staff to fix, they stopped it but the next flush again broke it, so for the next couple of days we didn't use the main flush. Next door was a bit loud but I presume this is due to the toilet doors not having the ability to close gently. You had to bang it to close which wasn't very nice. Sleeping first night was a bit of a pain as we could hear people talking next door till 2 am. 2nd night was fine.

Small room a long way from town, very expensive parking.

Poor check in. Not welcome drink offered. No 3rd bed in room when we arrived at 4pm. The room was really not a suitable size for a 3rd bed once it did arrive. Town centre maps not handed out as a matter of course. I only knew you had them when I heard someone else ask for one. Nice relaxing reception area. Room was really not worth the £262.20 which I paid (now only £162 with no sign of a refund).

Our hotel is conveniently located right outside the train station, and just 15 minutes walk from the town centre. You can also find bicycle rental, and scooters in the area, as another way to navigate around the city. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have its own car park. NCP car park located right outside the hotel is charging daily rate of £12.50 (4am to 4am). Alternatively, we have discounted price at Leisure centre car park located just about 7 minutes walk from the hotel, for £12 for 24h (from the moment you enter). Our 2nd time staying here. It would have been a 10 had it not been for the breakfast. The breakfast quality has dropped down sightly compared to two years ago. Egg was simply microwaved and they use to do awesome egg including fried option. Please don't drop your standard on that. Staff however have been 100% , can not fault them. Very friendly and Happy to help. Location speaks to itself and reason we stay up there. Room is clean with comfy bed.

I did not stay. I'm a doctor and had a busy week with a lot of commuting on the background of 12 months pandemic. I was phoned by a rather aggressive person two days before my stay to say was I visiting for leisure purposes and that if I was that was against lockdown regulations. As you can imagine I am exhausted and wanted to reduce the strain of the commute. I was upset by her approach and decided not to stay.

Lovely staff but not enough of them

This was a late booking, done on my phone 30 mins before arriving. I had included the dog in the booking process, however and as ever with Accor hotels, they tried to make me pay for him again and the breakfasts I had also included. That sorted all was fine. At breakfast the covid measure ment no buffet and only one young lady serving. When she left to visit the kitchens or deal with guests booking out, some guests started helping themselves breaking all the covid measures. More staff required.

The only redeeming feature of this hotel was the friendly staff and the proximity of the station. However, that's where it ends! I was annoyed that on arrival i was not given any information about health and safety (fire escapes etc). Nor was i informed that there was no room service after my first night, so i was left with wet towels as they had not been able to dry after the first night. The shower was pretty pathetic, and not at all hot. I was annoyed at the tea/coffee situation. They provided loads of nice tea bags and coffee but only 2 milks and 2 white sugars, so i kept having to go and request more (I drink my tea and sugar white with 2 sugars in, and quite a lot of it especially when i am working!) Even when i asked for me, they looked at me as if i was an alien! And had to hunt through all their cupboards to find some. I think for over £60 a night the least you can expect is as much tea/coffee as you like, PARTICULARLY as they were not offering breakfast due to Covid-19. Nor do they offer a discount in their restaurant for people who are staying at the hotel, which most other hotels do. There were no biscuits on offer and no drinking water. I was also freezing cold because the fan was locked onto the 'on' position and i cant stand to be cold as i have an illness and get very unwell if my temperature drops. The manager on the first night managed to turn it off for me and brought a little heater, but the 2nd night it came back on by itself and the lady on duty that night would not come and look at it for me, saying i could do it myself at the panel. when i did do it at the panel it still kept coming back on. After lots of messaging back and forth to her she finally came up and managed to switch it off. In general i think the hotel lobby looks lovely but my room looked run down and the carpet was well-worn and the walls looked like they needed a good lick of paint! I would not recommend staying here at all. I think they need to learn to communicate better, and they need to be more generous with what they supply, especially whilst the breakfast is not on offer. Definitely not worth the money!

clean and tidy. Staff always there too help. Our room was clean and spacious. The whole hotel was lovely and clean. The hotel is lovely and close too the train station. Close too a mini supermarket and 2 bars.
