The location is fantastic—walking distance to a mosque, Phinisi Point mall, and a small promenade. Service is always excellent at Ibis properties. Unfortunately, this particular place has two problems: 1) tiny bathrooms, like the kind you’d see on an airline; and 2) no chance for upgrade if you’re a Gold Accor member because rooms are the same. The Staff were very friendly and called earlier to confirm our stay. They also go out of their way to provide us the room we wanted, which was a room with king size bed, even though at the time of room booking, it was not available. Really appreciate their help to ensure our stay is as comfortable as possible.

sintiawindhi Couples - TripAdvisor review

When I checked in and checked out in this hotel, I had to wait quite long. When I asked my receipt (invoice), they said they cannot give it because I booked on line. This kind of experiences was never happened to me ( a member of accor club) since I joint accor club 2011. Although, after a while, finally they give me the receipt. However, the location is close to Losari beach, and some good restaurants.

Good location at a good price, just a little bit of water problem at the time but then they give me a good handling of the situation. Makasar have a really good food around the town. The employees are nice

Yes, there was a little bit problem on the hot water during your stay, but we solved it quickly, and as you mention, we always do our best to deal and communicate to our guests whenever they have problems, and compensate when necessary because we understand that the guest's satisfaction is the most important thing as a hotel. Can't agree more with you that Makassar offer many great foods, and almost all of them are available within walking distance from our hotel. The room is exactly as you would find in London or Paris, so you can be sure you are getting comfort, cleanliness and a minimum of other frills. The staff is cheerful, friendly and helpful and the location is reasonably central. Couldn't ask for more.

Not my normal Hotel to stay at in Makassar however I was pleasantly surprised by my visit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even willing to strike up a conversation which is often nice for a single traveler. The building is well sound proofed to remove outside noises and is just a 2 minute walk to Pantai Losari.
