Tired, outdated. Complete lack of room service from a 4 star hotel. Ordered a pizza through there system for it to be cancelled 40 mins later. This is not a 4 star establishment. Save your money and go to the premier inn down the road. Change of management needed.

Unfortunately this hotel is now beginning to look tiered everywhere. In our room the curtains had holes in them, there was a large burn/scorch mark on carpet, head board looked marked and dirty, no heat available on what was a chilly night, insufficient coffee pods and milk in room. The cutlery in the restaurant is old and marked, our drinks arrived in dirty glasses which we had to point out obviously not being check at bar, but were replaced as we see them cleaning and polishing the replacements, I could list a few more but not wishing to nit pick to much. I was overcharged at reception on check out, but was corrected when I checked the bill and pointed it out. Had it not been for the company that I was with my stay would had not been pleasant, shame use to be a great hotel.

Check in took a while (as had to leave as soon as checked in and had a cab waiting). Room was clean but could hear people in neighbouring rooms. Good large car park.

We arrived at the hotel to find that there was a bingo loco evening that day. Fortunately our room was well away from the event so we had a good nights sleep. The room was fine if a bit tired. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the meal was on a special deal of 2 courses for £20 and was fine pub food. Breakfast was very good with a selection of both hot and cold food. The grounds of the hotel are very extensive and well cared for.
