A welcome stopover after being delayed by 4 hours with Eurotunnel. The bar food menu was very welcome as we arrived too late for the restaurant meal we had booked and paid for. The hotel kindly took that into account on our final bill.Our only complaint was the repeated problems with our room key card.

This is a really lovely place to stay to get away from it all. The rooms are nice and clean, staff very friendly. We had a massage as part of the package but this can be booked separately and we would highly recommend. The swimming pool/jacuzzi/sauna were great. There was a large selection of breakfast including cereals/fresh fruit/cooked which you helped yourself to, however the cooked breakfast was ok if a little overcooked. Just a 20 minute walk into the nearest village (Hollingbourne). Leeds Castle is also a 20 minute walk (however do take torches, there is a path but it gets very dark). Will go back again though.

Had a spa experience out of this world the girls were amazing and catered for all our needs. We have been before only to use the beauty department tbh rooms were lovely but breakfast was over cooked and sausage and bacon was poor quality. The eggs were hard. However the cold buffet was of a more acceptable standard I would only give the breakfast a 4, hotel 8 girls in the spa 10plus!

We spent a 2 night break at the hotel. Room was spotlessly clean although a little dated. Staff were very pleasent and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and piping hot to the table. The sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool were great and staff very helpful. We are going back for 2 nights in December it was so good.

I and my partner booked a relax spa package to give ourselves a much need rest. My part a nurse with the Intensive care unit at a nhs trust planned to spoil her a little and felt a weekend away after 3 consecutive night shifts was a needed break. We arrived and were checked into our room. We went to bed after dinner only to be woken up at about 2am with so much noise coming from outside from a group that were talking, singing and chanting sport songs. Unknowing to me they have been checked in to the room next to our room. The noise continued into the room and this time they were shouting banging on the adjacent door between the room and drumming on whatever they could lay their hands on. Reported to the reception and nothing was done. I was left with a migraine and had no sleep all night This is my worst experience ever.

A lot of room for improvement in terms of staff attitude.

I don’t remember his name, but the guy at the desk when we checked in was awfully rude. Spoke to us as if we were literal idiots, and clearly with a sense of superiority - I’d love to know the reason for said feeling of superiority, given the unsatisfactory conditions of our stay. First and foremost, it was freezing as soon as we entered our room, and the radiator was not working at all, a problem others also faced which of course, because the guy at the desk was too busy feeling better than everyone else, failed to get fixed. While checking in, I informed him we will be checking our around 5pm because we paid extra to do so. After a very unhappy facia expression upon hearing me say that, he followed with a grumpy ‘no, 3pm the latest, I have a full hotel tomorrow.’. At this point I just laughed in his face. If it wasn’t for the plans I had the next day, I really would have waited until 6pm on the dot just to spite him at this rate. I would like to highlight that the rest of the staff I came into contact with were lovely, great service! But the guy at the reception desk really did ruin our whole stay. Unfortunately I don’t remember his name, but he definitely acted like the owner of the place (I really hope he’s not, if so that’s definitely worrying! Needs an attitude check first).

Very inadequate amount of rooms for people with disabilities just 3 rooms with walk in shower. Breakfast was a disappointment low grade sausages fried eggs left to long hard, cold mushrooms and lukewarm beans and all for the price of £15. Much the same as it was when we stayed at the Mecure hotel in Tonbridge in October, if management consider this acceptable then we will not bother to return.

We and our friends and our friends stayed just on night to see a concert at this hotel. It's location from key motorways and the continent is excellent, only 35 minutes to Dover.

We stayed as we were attending a function, that waa brilliant. The hotel side of things could have been better. We used the spa, it was enjoyable but the facilities were dated and could have been cleaner. Also not being able to use a locker was unsatisfactory. I found it hard to relax. The room was ok. The food at the function was dry and flavourless. Breakfast was plentiful but cold! The staff were all pleasant but minimal. I would stay again only if i had a function to attend.

Disappointed with room cleaning and replenishment of tea/coffee etc. No one came into our room at all during our stay. Complained and asked for part-refund and told to complain to Booking.com as that is who we booked with. They said they would get back to us after listening to our complaint, but so far they have totally ignored us. Hopeless service all round.

Arrived after 10hrs driving..exhausted and emotional..reception staff great..helped me and gave me a drink. Needed room service as had small dog with me…..menu atrocious…burgers, sandwiches and pizza..all extremely overpriced …£6.00 for 2 slices of bread with egg and cress and a lettuce leaf..£16.50 for an overdone tasteless burger….add some of the restaurant items, even if only up until 10pm….what difference does it make if served to a room or in the restaurant. Staff good again. Room was STUFFY AND in SERIOUS need of redecorating and updating….overhead light was full of dead flies..disgusting and all for £199 plus F&B plus dog charge…..not worth a third of that! If not for situation and staff I would have left! Will bever stay again

Tired rooms rude staff

Receptionist on arrival extremely rude and unhelpful, room was not ready and when we got to room was unclean and looks very dated, sink tap did not work, tiles mouldy and falling off wall. Was overall disappointing and would not recommend. Please teach your receptionists to be a little more customer focused. Room keys stopped working constantly in two days had 10 keys. Overall experience was not great and very expensive for what it is.
